Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He'll get the stick and people will say he didn't care but in reality he was probably the best of our starters yesterday. The fact he even had to sprint the length of the field to put that tackle in on Saka after giving the ball away, outrunning Ndombele, Dele and Hojbjerg speaks volumes.
Yet people are first to jump on him.
He didn't had a good game, but hr was far from the worst players yesterday.

Aside from Chelsea, Inter (after selling Lukaku), PSG (fits Poch and the team better than Messi), and United (before getting CR7)
Inter are fucked financially. Their Chinese owners Suning have been clobbered by the pandemic. They liquidated the club they owned in China and were having a fire sale of players.

Kane didn’t seemingly want to go to abroad anyway. PSG are an exhibition club in a one team league.

He wants to have medals handed to them in European Cup and league, Man U not an option there at the moment. Solskjaer is more of a Spurs joke manager.

Citeh and Chelsea were the only two realistic options.

I doubt they care as much as fans do about that sort of stuff. It's just a job to them.

If Nuno decides to drop Kane for Sonny and we see another performance like we did against City it will be very telling.
Absolutely no chance kane gets dropped. Hes afraid to drop dier and sanchez and dele let alone.
Its not like we were ripping it up upfront when kane wasnt in the team but they all look disinterested now

A few weeks ago I got loads of disagrees when I suggested we should sell Kane to City for £120 million. Bet I wouldn't get as many if I suggested it tonight.
Yes. With the benefit of hindsight, it looks very much like Levy made the mistake of focusing too much on being the clever git ("I've got Kane over a barrel") and not nearly enough on the cold realities of doing a good deal.

Not quite as good as he thinks he is, is he? Danny Delboy.

My question is - did we receive actually 120 m£ offer from City?
Cause at some point I had feeling we did not.

I was also advocating that we should have sold him, but for reasonable sum. Not 75m that was thrown around at some point to be the only offer.

Right now we obviously should bench him, no point to carry on like this.
Start Son up top and Gil-Moura on wings, if Stevie B returns, lets use him as part of rotation. Team is just not pulling the same direction now.

ok, thanks for clearing that up.
For a moment I though people were serious about this.

FFS Lukaku was sold to earn some cash and he was substituted with Edin fucking Dzeko!!
PSG did not go for Messi because he "fits" in the team. They go after the biggest star just for shits and giggles. Signing Kane would have never given the Sheikh such a raging boner as multiple Ballon d'or winner Messi.
United never was on market for such player, and just in last minute they wanted their romantic reunion. Of a player that cost 15 mil. That is one 0 missing.

So when I, and a handful of others said "just let him go, if the only offer is X, we're better off with the money than a grumpy player who will NEVER attract that kind of money again"

And a LOT of you were absolutely binary in the argument "It has to be £150m and nothing less"

You still think that was a good idea and what was best for THFC?

Do you know what that was? That was taking an absolute pounding in a fight because you refused to go down. That's spending the rest of your life blind in one eye, with half uour teeth and tremors because you were too stuborn to go down.

Now look at the fucking state of Tottenham Hotspur.

You must be so proud of Levy for not taking the money.

To be fair the majority on here would have been up in arms had we taken around 70 m plus add on .Nobody seems to know if a higher bid was actually made and of course in hindsight we should have moved him on but easy to say that now .

Fair enough if you believe we should have taken anything as if a player wants out I understand some would say get him out but in this case I think it would have caused uproar with the majority .

Who knows what Citeh did or don’t offer. What we do know is that both Citeh and the Chavs needed a striker. Chavs spent at least £100 million on Lukaku. Wouldn’t have taken a whole lot to escalate a bidding war between the two of them and have gotten £120-130 million.

Hi everyone, new here!
Just wondered what everyone thought about Kane turning our season around since committing to us and turning down City because he wants to be here!

I love having a world class striker don’t you guys!?
Would not swap for Lukaku or Lewandoski no way!
COYS!!

:adeohshit:

Hi CroSpurs CroSpurs
Don’t you agree! That lovely trap of the ball, then falling over, then sprinting 150 yards to slide tackle no one while getting destroyed by Sakho!!
What’s not to like!!!

It was a fucking terrible decision not to engage in negotiations.
In some ways I hope he gets injured now. We won't miss him as we're so bad we can't even set him up for chances.

Anything to stick the knife into that innept cunt at the top and twist it. ANYTHING. Cause he will be here forever unless he feels the pinch and the only pinch is money.

It’s amazing how many people “wanted him sold” now..
