Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Anyone who actually thought Kane was the problem, we should sell him, or that we could do better should be taken out of society for good. You aren’t fit to live with the rest of us.

Not sure Bale can go down as Spurs greatest ever player , for me the contradiction being he goes down as the greatest ever British player imho .

Wasn’t here long enough at the top of his game. Bit like Ronaldo at United.

Club has been lucky enough to have some seriously talented players down the years from Greeves, Mackay, Blanchflower to Hoddle, Waddle and Gazza right upto to Bale, Modric and Kane.

Bale, Modric and Kane I at least saw a lot so can make a judgement and it’s very hard to split them ability wise, each world class in their role.

Never understood why Barca or Real didn’t pay £100m for Kane from us. He is better than Lewondoski and Mbappe, that was obvious even with us, probably the only complete striker in world football currently.

Because he's a loyal married man with kids, a bit dull, talks funny, and looks like haley joel osment with a healthy BMI. I don't mean that to be a criticism, but simply how it works - his personality is a positive to his position as a role model and sportsman, but a negative in terms of his celebrity.

Barca and Real have always relied very heavily on the "aura" of a player and all that bullshit. Kane is never really going to be that marketable so I guess they don't find him as alluring. Which is of course total nonsense from a sporting POV, but that's how it has always been. IMO it's the key reason why he'll never win a Ballon d'Or. I still think the only reason Michael Owen won one was because he was an arrogant twat who hyped himself up constantly, which is just not part of Kane's persona. It's a popularity contest, so you kind of have to be a bit of a knob.

Barca didn’t have the money and say what you will about Mbappe he’s very very very fucking good, willing to wait for them on a free, and 5 years younger.

The City move was the one that made sense but COVID money uncertainty and Levy made it fall thru in 2021. Bayern just filled the vacuum

True, he is the best player of his generation and that’s his lane. His Hugo Boss ad is the best thing that ever happened to Ralph Lauren.
