Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

State of some of these commitments.

Bale is NOT a bigger Spurs legend than Kane, wtf?

Bayern as a team were slightly outclassed by PSG but it was close and Kane can't be blamed for their exit.

Probably agree with all that but I think Bale hit a higher level, if not with us, but overall.

Son is the only legend of the 3 as far as I am concerned but I would say Bale all round was the best but Kane on his own in terms of high grade consistency.

Please tell me we all know that, although he’s getting spectacular numbers, they can’t remotely be compared to his time here?

No matter who we’d have signed to play alongside him (and remember that he had seasons with Son, Dele, Eriksen), he wouldn’t have been playing against the lower league dreck that he plays against in Germany.

Excellent numbers, but shouldn’t be used to beat the club up.

Literally a £1bn footballer in terms of impact. The second he leaves we immediately go down the shitter and have two relegation level seasons.

GOAT English striker. GOAT English footballer if we’re honest with ourselves…

To not back Kane? If that is your point, I completely agree. We should have won the Prem two or three times with him in the side. Levy and Lewis's couldn't be bothered to stump up the cash to actually make a mark on the game, though...

Kane had the chances to be game-changer for 2/3 years with us. Maybe he just wasn't quite able at the time but he had the quality around him, even if I accept that maybe one or two more players at the time would have helped, but we were pretty special for 24/30 months and nada.

Homest opinion. Pochettino wasn't quite the right manager to get us over the line despite all that he did.

Bale is definitely a better player than Kane and had a much higher ceiling. He's scored in multiple CL finals for a start.

For us as a club though Kane is far and away the bigger legend.

Yes, should have built a team around him, generational striker, academy player - could have been our greatest living legend byt we fumbled him.

We made some bad purchases, we also didn't commit to keep spending when it was proven we were close. If Levy had continued spending the summer after we reached the CL final we could still be competing for the Prem title with Kane right now. In contrast, look at Woolwich and how they've continued to back Arteta since they got into sniffing distance of the major trophies- they've gone all in on calculated risk trying to get over the top while our management pulled back and allowed the initiative to be lost. One was simply afraid to risk resources while the others are bold and committed in their execution.

I don't know about all that.

It's not just spending money as you can see from.the filth and Liverpool.

But yep, the summer of zero spend was where we started to go backwards.

Haaland ghosts yet another final but his team wins and goes down a hero, Kane does that and ends up on the losing team and he solely gets blamed for it, people are genuinely weird
