He's a fucking idiot, he's admitting his career here was almost dead and suggests it's because he wasn't given the chance to prove himself.

He's 26 and been at the club his entire life how much more chance does he need to prove anything? It's not like he's a new signing and we don't know what he can do. We've seen everything he's capable of and he's still fucking shit.

Anyone defending this little cockroach now isn't doing it for footballing reasons. It's beyond question he's a fucking cowardly, shit footballer who isn't good enough for Southampton so why the fuck is he playing for Spurs?

Of course it's not. The few people in here that still defend him always fall back on, "but he's Spurs through and through..."

There's a 25 year old Edmonton lad that works at Sainsburys that's Spurs through and through, why don't we field him as well if we're going to think that has anything to do with anything.

well 50k is still 50k, youd expect at least a half decent footballer for that money.

and yes, this is the problem, hes playing in the most important position on the pitch, so even if the defence is dynamite and the attack is, the teams still going to be shit because at the heart of it is little harry winks whos so far out of his depth it makes me fucking sick. it wuldnt be so bad if he was a fucking shit right back, but hes bang in the trenches and hes hiding! hiding because hes up against superior players. its fucking insane

im already having concerns with conte now due to him starting last night and staying on the full 90. i just pray that hes learnt now. if not we are in big big trouble. im baffled how any apparent football expert can watch our games and think its a smart thing to put him in there.

Winks is not a rat. I thought that crap had been flushed.
He is a good player who wants to play. Nothing wrong with that.
He had a bad game last night but has played well in previous games.
 
Seemed to affect the Soton game disappointing little. He needs to figure out how to be more influential in CM, generally. If we don't get another legit CM and make him 5th choice CM next season, we will regret it.
