Transfers Have we re-signed Christian Eriksen yet?

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Klinsmann, Sheringham, Defoe, Crouch all came back and did solid jobs as far as I can remember.

There’s no fate behind it, it’s down to the player, the team fit, the moment etc and we need creativity in midfield whilst operating on a limited budget. Can’t think of many that fit that particular niche as well in all honesty.
Crouch doesn’t count as he left as a youth player. Kaboul and JD did well in their 2nd stint. Klinsmann was a rescue job.

Everyone else was a placeholder, who if we are truly honest didn’t push us forward (Sheringham, Keane, Chimbonda etc.)

there are other footballers in the world, younger, more dynamic, cheaper.

I’m sure he’s a lovely fella but , especially how he left , I don’t trust him to perform plus I can’t remember the last good game he had.

West Ham have been linked with a loan bid for Eriksen while it's understood Hammers boss David Moyes has also considered a move for Lingard too.

Ajax and Wolves are also said be interested in Eriksen but the Dane is embroiled in a wrangle with Inter over missing fees to his agent Martinus Schoots.

It's believed Schoots was given a mandate to negotiate Eriksen's release from Spurs but has so far been paid only £900,000 of the agreed £6.3million fee by Inter.

Schoots has filed an arbitration request with an Italian Sports Court for the rest of his commission - and that is holding up Eriksen moving this month.

Imagine if Eriksen ends up turning out for West Ham. That would be an utter humiliation.

Surprised that no one has so far mentioned that he is currently on a reported 220K a week at inter Milan for 2 more years.

No way would Levy even offer anything remotely close to that.
Nobody is paying him that amount of money.
He simply isn’t a 200k a week player and hasn’t been for 3 years now.
The reality is that Inter would have to subsidise his wages.
He’s lost his mojo and I don’t want him back here running around the pitch a lot but avoiding tackles, fucking up set pieces & taking up a place in the squad.

West Ham???

FFS...... He should have just signed with us all those years ago and he'd probably have abou 10 mil more in the bank than he does now.

Whoever has been advising him needs their head looking at.

Imagine coming round from a dream (about your wife and Jan Vertonghen) waking in the West Ham dressing room to a board announcing your in a midfield three with Nobel and Lingard..

Guy should go to MLS. The pace and standard there will make him a high profile success.
Quality of play, yes. Pace? No.

I think people mistake it that since the quality of play isn't great in MLS, that it isnt physically demanding. So often it remimds me of of the Mexican Liga MX where it is almost chaotic in terms of speed and recklessness of tackles.
