Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Nobody brought up Son’s race because they didn’t need to, it was all wink-wink nudge-nudge.

I suggested if you want to watch a culturally homogenous set of agreed-upon reactions to violence and injury, you should watch the sport UFC which operates according to white North American conceptions of macho, whether the actual fighters are white orAmerican or not is beside the point.

Cry a little between shooting anabolic steroids into your cock, it might do you some good.

Literally no one was suggesting anything about Sons race AT ALL. So it's a weird fucking assertion to bring up. basically what your suggesting is the only reason he cries so much is because he is Asian?? Only in your racist mind pal.

As for your UFC white people comments, you're now talking so much bollocks and going through so much mental gymnastics to find something racist in everything that it is fucking cringe worthy. I'm embarrassed for you. UFC is literally called mixed martial arts. In that it takes fight forms from everywhere in the world. From Japan (judo) to ju jitsu (Brazil) to sambo (Russia) to muay Thai (Thailand) to boxing. so nice stereotype and generalisation bro. If you think the only people who watch UFC are white Americans you are Very wrong.

Please keep your racist opinions to yourself.

(I’m probably whiter than you are by the way.)

You're opinion wouldn't matter to me regardless of what colour you are. You are virtual signalling. Please stop. No one mentioned Sons race. I couldnt care less. I take issue with his constant crying, need for counselling, the "matesy" mentality that has hit spurs again. We are notoriously a soft club. Would Patrick viera or Roy Keane would have cried?

People break legs and have accidents in sports. Sons reaction was borderline extreme. Like he had just witnessed some terrible death. The guy twisted his ankle. Show emotion and compassion but Sons over the top crying was cringy and a bit fucking annoying. He has a child like streak to him either crying or lashing out and getting sent off.

I’m not, really. I’m defending a fantastic professional and wonderful Spurs player. One of the most exceptional personalities I’ve ever seen lace up a pair of boots. I’m poking at reasons why I think some people might think it’s okay to call him a “crybaby” which I do feel has a racialised component.

Unless you accept that responding emotionally might have a different context in parts of the world where you aren’t (Stevenage?) then you’re the racist, not me.

I'm calling him a cry baby because he is literally a cry baby. Also the forum background is white and so I must poke reasons at this that it must have racialised components. That's how fucking stupid you sound.

Yes I do disagree with that racist generalisation thanks. Everyone's an individual. Stop stereotyping race.

I'm calling Son (the individual) a cry baby because he is literally sobbing his eyes out every other game. Stop with your bigotry of low expectations, asians don't need defending by you thanks. "the big hero white man come to save the Asian heung min son from racism that didn't even exist" comes to. Mind.

Also is stevenage meant to be some sort of slur? Again, racism and classism. See me after class.

Obviously what I'm. Saying about heung min son is slightly tongue in cheek. But my god he does half cry a bit.

I don’t know what virtue signalling is or why you keep accusing me of it. I’m “you’re an asshole” signalling, I don’t get what virtue is. Yes I support Son and you’re a cock.

Dude give up.
It's hard telling white people how to feel about something they can never relate to. Also a lot of the feelings towards Son is of course racist but its often so subconscious that people do not classify it as racist. Like racism comes in forms of institutionalism and our mental subconscious that as a white male in particular you never have to deal with.

the article below does a good job of half explaining the situation with son.

the racist abuse that Son has gotten from everton fans and in general how people have seen son as a cry baby is just ridiculous. for me I can never be a tottenham fan because of it. A lot of people are outraged by son crying but do not care that literally their own player gets racially abused.

maybe in western culture, people have forgotten how to show empathy or that empathy can only be shown when someone dies. but how Son reacted is for me, is more manly and humane and a show of strength than ever. fuck what all these people think in all honesty.

Again tonight Son scored two goals against belgrade and was SUBBED off to prevent him from scoring ahattrick. Son is the most subbed player in tottenham despite showing a tendency to score late goals. Imagine Kane being on two goals - he would never dare be subbed all together.

We are blessed to have this lovely human being playing for our football club, I am proud to have him as one of our players, not just because he is talented but most importantly because he is probably one of the nicest human beings I have ever seen.

This is the sort of footballer kids should look up to, a true role model.

Amazing how you can write so much and say so little.
