I think the change you might be alluding to is that Hugo's kicking long has been the best it has ever been the last 10 games or so. I don't know how he's been able to pull it off, almost overnight. But he's been finding his players with great accuracy of late, long may that continue.

As it is, if we sign a younger replacement for Lloris, its going to be someone thats well established, IMO..24/25 yr old. playing first ream football. pretty much what Lloris was. If its a relative youngster, its going to be a de gea (when he joined manu) type

Only Cech and Begovic have made more errors leading to a goal this season than Lloris. It's a shame that most of those have come in big games but he also does save us a lot of points too. His mistake yesterday was horrid but he also made some great saves and showed great handling for some efforts that some other keepers may have parried out to the opposing team.
He's not as good as he was a few years back but he's still a reliable goalkeeper, a role model and a leader.

There’s a young GK playing for Toulouse, Alban Lafont, I heard he’s highly regarded, we should look at him.

The problem with Keepers like Lloris is he gets involved with everything, never hides so exposes himsrlf to possible errors.
Lloris is a good keeper, mistakes happen. He just as likely to pull out a match winning save against City next week. This is a blip and should pass I feel.
