Ahhh, I blame the trend of "a blatant disregard for a Name/Title being totally unrelated to the thing it's naming" solely at the door of the Champions League!!
I still wanna know who is was who failed to notice that the (branding alert) BIGGEST COMPETITION IN CLUB FOOTBALL has a totally misleading name (i.e just over half of those clubs competing in it each year aren't actually the Champions of their respective countries)
It is something that still irks me (y'don't say??)
 
I don't believe that for a second. If it's regarding of club, contribution and own career, Mignolet would be on the list for keeping the most cleansheets in the league this season - Lloris just isn't highly rated outside of Tottenham, for whatever reason I have no idea.

It has to be down to the sheer number of goals we've conceded this season.

We know how much he's left exposed and was not at fault for those goals, but anyone who has a brief look at the stats and claims to be an expert in PL goalkeeping will not.
The same people can watch a highlights reel of De Gea and co, and think the sun shines out of their arse (side note: I've seen terrible fuck ups from all the keepers supposedly 'above' Lloris).

Oh, and that's before we take into account how much pandering will go on towards the big teams with articles like this - whether that's to flatter them or antagonise them into clicking the link and sharing with other fans.

As others have said; we know how fantastic Lloris is as a goalkeeper and a professional, and some jumped up wannabe journalist (who would have been better of as a wank stain on his father's bedsheets) and his insincere opinion is not going to ruin that.

It ain't gonna be nice losing him, we've all been down this road before. It always stings at first. We know how to deal with it. We move on, we always do. Please levy, don't sell him to man utd. I fucking hate how they are just presuming he will be going to them. I hope levy tells them to go fuck themselves.
