It grates me that we could off had nick pope last summer for fucking peanuts .. a spurs fan too from.a spurs family.
No sentiment for lloris , was fantastic for us up to a point about 2 years ago, after that a mistake waiting to happen.. thanks for the memories .

Hugo has been terrible, one or 2 reflex saves apart.

Forster getting his deserved chance is good news.
To be fair, he's done far more than that. When someone shoots, I *expect* him to save it. He does it so often, it's easy to overlook it. That's confidence and duly earned by being world class for years. A lot of our GA haven't been his fault, but as a GK, any mistake is a goal and it's sad that his are increasing. He still has cat-like reflexes and agility that puts Foster to shame.

Having said that, his kicking and to some degree his punching are shite, his decisions are questionable at times (booze?) but he's never tried karate kicking anyone in the face and I think we'll regret not having anywhere close to him as backup.

Three weeks ago we've seen Lloris let in a shot going straight at his face against our biggest rivals, now people here are going into crisis mode because he won't be available? Forster doesn't have to do much to be an upgrade, let's give him a shot.

Well not great news in terms of the injury sustained. Hope he makes a good recovery.

Form wise Hugo has been dodgy, hopefully Forster can step up. Experienced player so let's see how he does.

6-8 weeks. Won’t need surgery = in 5 weeks he will be under the knife and out till September, that’s usually what happens with our medical department.

Forster is an adequate understudy, we shouldn’t be too concerned.

With the fixtures coming up we shouldn’t be worrying about our goalkeeper, if we play well it shouldn’t matter. Just get on with it.
We don't play with too much of a high line so Forster shouldn't be exposed to too many one on one situations either, which is his biggest weakness as a keeper.
