Hes Strasbourg manager
Duh... talk about stating the fucking obvious. However, we could easily have brought in enough quality to stay up comfortably in Jan, and you had people on here saying "I don't want to buy a single player for Frank, I understand why the board aren't bringing anyone in" on the false self-comforting assumption that we couldn't possibly go down, ignoring that our form last season under a similar injury crisis would easily have seen us relegated in a stronger year for the relegation candidates.... aka, this year.Shut up...
The roots of the problem go a lot further back than one fucking January window.
You really think that Xavi, Romero, Vicario, Porro, Palhinha, Van De Ven, Sarr and other internationals of this generation have any fucking idea who Harry Redknapp is?We need an upbeat "feels" man.
We can't have any of;
1) Miserable authoritarian shouters
2) Absolute nobodies
3) Anyone our cunt squad thinks is "below" them
It had to be someone who comes with a smile, can lie to the players well enough to convince them that they're good and can leave in the summer, is well known to the squad and is/was well respected within the game.
To me, it can't NOT be Redknapp at this stage.
He can like to the tax man, he can smile when he slags Bent off for missing a sitter, he's well known to the majority of the squad and fans and media, and he's not going to do anything stupid. Simple tactics. Players in the right position. Put some effort in and "run abaaaaht a bit"
Do i think putting a 79 year old in is a good idea?
Not really.
But give me a better option today, that could actually happen?
Mason lost 10 away league games in a row with West Brom though. I don't think he's the man to motivate these players. If the interim option is between Mason and Dyche, has to be Mason.
But Redknapp doesn’t mean anything to these players. We need an upbeat "feels" man.

They could easily, you know, read his Wikipedia page. You really think that Xavi, Romero, Vicario, Porro, Palhinha, Van De Ven, Sarr and other internationals of this generation have any fucking idea who Harry Redknapp is?
Maybe if they were made to watch I'm a celebrity by their partners a few years ago but other than that not a fucking chance.
OKBut Redknapp doesn’t mean anything to these players.
We know him. We like him. But for someone like Simons, it will just be a random old dude who used to be part of the club.
The club is quite clearly imploding. Once we’re relegated it will all come out.
Not with this 3 at the back nonsenseYes, they are not what they have been in recent years.
You can get at Liverpool, I just don't know if we can.
Bring him in
Neither are my preferred options. But Mason would be my choice if only these two are options. The obvious option for me is someone everyone loves to hate.Mason lost 10 away league games in a row with West Brom though. I don't think he's the man to motivate these players.
Having said that, Dyche definitely isn't, and now that Harry is out, we're running out of viable options.
I think a duo setup would be the best bet, a lead coach like Harry with a strong assistant like Sherwood. But Spurs men is what we need now as the last throw of the dice, it's all about motivation now, not tactics.
Agree, its a shit option, we're a laughing stock but if you put him with Mason and maybe Stuart Lewis its about the best we can do.We need an upbeat "feels" man.
