Shut up...

The roots of the problem go a lot further back than one fucking January window.
Duh... talk about stating the fucking obvious. However, we could easily have brought in enough quality to stay up comfortably in Jan, and you had people on here saying "I don't want to buy a single player for Frank, I understand why the board aren't bringing anyone in" on the false self-comforting assumption that we couldn't possibly go down, ignoring that our form last season under a similar injury crisis would easily have seen us relegated in a stronger year for the relegation candidates.... aka, this year.

We need an upbeat "feels" man.
We can't have any of;

1) Miserable authoritarian shouters
2) Absolute nobodies
3) Anyone our cunt squad thinks is "below" them

It had to be someone who comes with a smile, can lie to the players well enough to convince them that they're good and can leave in the summer, is well known to the squad and is/was well respected within the game.

To me, it can't NOT be Redknapp at this stage.
He can like to the tax man, he can smile when he slags Bent off for missing a sitter, he's well known to the majority of the squad and fans and media, and he's not going to do anything stupid. Simple tactics. Players in the right position. Put some effort in and "run abaaaaht a bit"

Do i think putting a 79 year old in is a good idea?
Not really.
But give me a better option today, that could actually happen?

You really think that Xavi, Romero, Vicario, Porro, Palhinha, Van De Ven, Sarr and other internationals of this generation have any fucking idea who Harry Redknapp is?
Maybe if they were made to watch I'm a celebrity by their partners a few years ago but other than that not a fucking chance.

If the interim option is between Mason and Dyche, has to be Mason.
Mason lost 10 away league games in a row with West Brom though. I don't think he's the man to motivate these players.
Having said that, Dyche definitely isn't, and now that Harry is out, we're running out of viable options.
I think a duo setup would be the best bet, a lead coach like Harry with a strong assistant like Sherwood. But Spurs men is what we need now as the last throw of the dice, it's all about motivation now, not tactics.

But Redknapp doesn’t mean anything to these players.

We know him. We like him. But for someone like Simons, it will just be a random old dude who used to be part of the club.

The club is quite clearly imploding. Once we’re relegated it will all come out.

They could easily, you know, read his Wikipedia page.
Or ask a random fan in the street.

Fans here asking for fucking Hoddle to come back. He's been irrelevant even longer to anyone but fans of Spurs over the age of 50

I just can’t imagine the club will stick with him regardless and just see us go down.

They simply have to make another change. The fact they decided to hire a caretaker that plays 3 at the back just makes my head go. Lange and Vinai are completely clueless clowns.

We should play 4 at the back and be keeping it simple.

I just can’t believe the people running the club are making such bad decision after bad decision. Who the fuck hires a manager in Frank who largely plays four at the back. Sacks him two thirds into the season and then instead of just getting hiring someone else to keep it simple and lift the players, they decided to rip it up and start again.

It’s madness.

They have to do something. He’s only here until the end of the season so there is no point in keeping him just for the sake of it if he’s not working out. Sack him and make a fucking change or we go down, you useless fucking idiots.

I’ve never see such bad football decision makers as Lange and Vinai.

Neither are my preferred options. But Mason would be my choice if only these two are options. The obvious option for me is someone everyone loves to hate.
But I agree with you on the last sentence.

Agree, its a shit option, we're a laughing stock but if you put him with Mason and maybe Stuart Lewis its about the best we can do.

No one outside of ex Tottenham is taking this now, not De Zerbi or Xavi permanently or Sean Dyche for 9 games. Why would they? So many jobs up for grabs in 2.5 months why would they take this car crash on?

There are no good options now, which is why we're flailing around as a club and fanbase so you either stick with Tudor or go for a Redknapp/Mason/a.n other punt.

Why didn’t we go for a permanent manager instead of an interim. Alonso, Xavi or de Zerbi and have everything sorted for next season. Maybe they would have turned us down but at least we tried. We all know they are waiting for Poch and by the time the WC is over he will have no time to organise the team, transfers or system and will be in the Championship.
