I'm sure Rodgers would leave Leicester for us, (don't laugh), we are one of the Big 5,we have history, heritage, and a style of play that all the supporters crave.

Yes, we are awful, have been for 2 years now, BUT if that right hit levy was to give Rodgers a few assurences, Rodgers would come.

I believe he is the right man,... However every ex Chelsea man at our club has been dire 🤔😂😢
It'd be pretty funny to see the salty Leicester fans in disbelief about why he'd leave 'a bigger job' to go join Spurs.

Much like the Celtic fans did when he left them...

Whomever we bring in I'll get behind and hope they succeed but apart from Nagelsmann none of the names linked excite me. Potter would be a gamble. Martinez failed at Everton. Southgate has no balls (don't mean that literally of course!). Sarri is just doomed to fail from the word go.

I think I'd have wanted Parker if he had kept Fulham up but it looks that they're done for now. Personally I think we should try and entice Gerrard to the club but would probably have to put in a massive buy-out clause into his contract whilst at the same time seeking assurances that he wouldn't try to engineer a move to Liverpool the first chance he gets. I think Harry Kane would love to work under him.

Who knows though? Maybe Mason is our man but we just don't know it yet!

Gerrard or Parker?

:avbnaa:

Poch finished 8th in his only full season in charge of Southampton , who had only come up after successive promotions from League one the previous season.

Potter has taken over an already established Premier League side and is doing no better than the previous manager, only difference being he plays more attractive football

I don't see the similarities to Poch, if Potter had Brighton exceeding expectations in the top half of the league I would understand why people are interested in him.
Self explanatory really as in the previous post Brighton have got terrible finishers they have also had extremely bad luck with converting penalties and seem to hit the woodwork an awful lot but Potter has them playing fantastic and they create bags of chances in every game not to mention how well drilled the defence work as a cohesive unit.

For all you potter haters better dream up another Mourinho look how well that worked lol 😂

Potter is worth a punt at the very least

Yeah, we're not getting the Golden Boy Nagelsmann so whomever we bring in will have question marks against their name.

Imagine if it was Gerrard or Martinez?

Parker or Southgate?

I'd take the younger managers over the other two all day long.

I suspect whomever comes in will split the fan base anyway.
I really don't see what Gerrard or Parker have done to even be considered. Being better alternatives to Martinez or Southgate isn't saying much.

Lets get real people, you do not join Spurs after finishing 2nd in the league twice and reaching CL SF, your next club should be Bayern Munich or Real Madrid. JN is highly unrealistic target.
Rumour is...it is. Bayern wanted him lined up, but RB are hesitant about letting him go to another Bundesliga club.

Rumour also has it that he was lightly approached by Real Madrid (whatever the hell that means) last year as well and he turned them down because he wanted more time to adapt before jumping in to such a publicized job.

Here we go again with the he's unlucky with his bad finishers and hitting the wookwork, laughable and if Jose had prime Maldini and Nesta at the back I'm sure his negative football would of been more successful.

What was Potters excuse for 10th place with just relegated Swansea? they seem to be doing alright without him.

Why is it Potter or another Mourinho? there's plenty of managers out there who play good football and are much more qualified for a job of this size than him.

He's just won the league with Rangers, they're still in the Scottish Cup having knocked out Celtic and have had some good results and performances in Europe under his tenure.

He's probably better off staying at Rangers for at least one more season and having a crack at the CL.

Anyway just my opinion.

I think this whole Rodgers story is total rubbish he has no intention whatsoever of leaving Leicester and honestly looking at the job he has done since arriving from Celtic it’s easy to see how much of a project manager he actually is and his Leicester journey is only just beginning.

He would never forgive himself for walking out on Leicester after bringing through to the first team players like Harvey Barnes and James Justin not to mention improving the ranks after selling Maquire to Utd and bringing in Wesley Fofana and Soyuncu
improving the likes of Maddison Vardy and Ichneacho in the process.
Honestly I feel he’s doing that great a job there that if Liverpool sacked Klopp tomorrow and offered him another chance he would turn it down.

after his comments earlier this week reaffirming his commitment to Leicester this story needs to die down now.

Who would you like to see spurs hire then?

Fair enough.

I just don't consider success in Scotland to count as success. Especially if with Rangers or Celtic.

Gordon the Gopher could lead one of those two to the title.

If we had Nesta and Maldini at the back I guarantee we wouldn’t throw away as many points from winning positions as we did under super Jose

I'm not so sure about that, at the start of the season Celtic were considered favourites to win the league. As I said, Rangers have also had some good results in Europe under Gerrard. Better than Rodgers achieved when Celtic manager anyway.

Rodgers is ex Chelsea as well?

I forgot that - definitely not him.
