Turkey could potentially be a great source for Tottenham for obtaining committed, hard-working and uncompromised players that cannot be easily swayed or influenced by non-footballing factors. But I don't really know much about their squad/players.

Last night :

Turkey 0 - 6 Spain.

Are you sure you are not a bot programmed to come up with random suggestions to engage with posters ?

Could you provide a more in-depth analysis of Turkish international players and provide their clubs, positions, value, pro's and cons in table format.

Many thanks.

I am not a bot.

I base that what I wrote above on the fact that Spanish/South American players Tottenham has are clearly not putting in much of an effort when playing in England for Tottenham. Look at this situation.

Notice there how they are basically not defending when playing in England for Tottenham. Palhinha had to defend both defenders there in that instance. How Spanish/South American players do internationally when playing for Spain, Brazil, Argentina is a totally different matter that is not relevant for Tottenham. Turkish footballers, in contrast, are perhaps much more likely to have a die-hard attitude when playing in England and for Tottenham. Which is very, very important.

Here are other instances of Porro and Romero playing in a compromised fashion and manner:

Romero was also at fault for the Bournemouth goal that was scored by another South American international. To me that didn't look like a very committed, uncompromised attempt to make a block:

IDK, but it is possible that Turkish players may prove to be much better players that are committed to the club and willing to work hard in their roles. It would be optimal for the club to make such scouting by its own self and in secret.

I think it would be a good idea for Tottenham to contact Mourinho, perhaps, and ask for his opinions about Turkish left backs, right backs and what not. Hopefully the club has maintained good relations with him. But it would, of course, be more optimal for the club to make such scouting by its own self and in secret.
These Bots are getting better...mind of their own?

Exactly what a Bot would say

In my own response, I woud rather see two World Cups, one for countries ranked at a certain point from 1 to whatever in their respective continents , or for countries below it to be part of a qualification group around the world for countries ranked from number 'X' with the top 4 going through to the World cup proper or into a play-off, with the lowest ranked from the top pool.

Something has to change.
Mixed feelings in this. I get that many of these games are excruciating, but arbitrarily splitting countries based on a ranking feels a bit 'Superleaguey' to me.

Feels a little strange that we celebrate the romance of the FA Cup and back the little guy (especially given we're the only non-league team to have ever won it), but want to exclude the little guy when it comes to the international stage.

Romero (banned for Argentina's match on Wednesday) and Dragusin both back in training today - I doubt if Dragusin is going to play that soon after being out for a few months but good to see him back

Italians are complaining so much to the referee it is kinda insane.

Italian goalkeeper made a huge howler. And was saved by the ref. Referees saved Italy in the last game too. Helped Italy a lot. The play wasn't even reviewed. He made a huge error. Looked very weak. There appeared to have been some contact with an attacker but how much contact is questionable. It hasn't been reviewed and the ref right away intervened on the side of Italy.

In African football there are many semi-professional and amateurish appearing footballers. Kudus has dispossessed one of Mali's players in a way I've never seen before anywhere.
