Are Referee's Reffing Us Out of The Premier League?

Whilst I'll concede the officiating has been dubious at best we're not where we are just because of referees. We're in the bottom three because that's where we deserve to be based on performances.
Arguably, we are.
If players that should have got reds got them, we'd have played 10 men more often. If some of the reds that were dubious weren't reds, we'd have played with less of a disadvantage. If goals hadn't been ruled out we might have won. If goals that were ruled out for us that were given against were given, we might have more points.

We'd definitely still be down at the bottom 1/4 of the table. But it's unlikely we'd be nailed on for relegation.

But, Brobbey getting sent off yesterday for the foul on Romero and then the elbow on Porro would have given us 57 minutes against 10 men at 0-0 and it would have stopped him fucking Romero up.
Tell me the ref there hasn't directly contributed to our issues getting even worse.

Have just seen Fernandes give the ref a sustained gob full for giving Leeds a corner. There is no doubt that had that been Spurs we would have got a booking as seen by the caution of Porro yesterday for less. Yes we are crap but there may be some truth in us getting reffed differently

Just boo the referee all game for the rest of the season. Any decision that goes against us needs to be met with a chorus of boos.

That's it. That's all we can do as fans. Yes we have been getting rode by the refs all season. Yes, our players have given up and don't even appeal. But we as fans can still make some small difference. We can try influence these idiots reffing the games. We can't just rolloover and let them keep giving poor decisions against us every game.

This team will play well and start winning games if they can redeem some confidence but right now that win feels impossible to get. We need everyone fighting for this. We just need to catch a break. One lucky break. One red card given to the opposition or a penalty give to us. That could change everything. But we as fans need to take this into our hands now and make sure we don't get screwed again this season.

I am sorry but this is staggering.

We are absolutely being reffed differently, and the Maddison non penalty is another in a long line of decisions we simply are not getting. I have had this feeling for a while, but it all goes back to the Diaz incident against Liverpool and that huge outcry there was.

Up until that point, there was only ever the usual debate about us getting and not getting decisions, but it was no different from other clubs, but ever since then we've been reffed differently. That Diaz incident was a clear turning point. We've been watching it unfold with our own eyes for a few years now, but to see the data says it all.

The club seriously need to have a word with the PGMOL about wtf is going on here. For that Maddison incident to not even go to VAR is unbelievable.

How can it be that every other PL club is grouped fairly close together, and we are the huge outlier.

Adding this here where it belongs.

It's match fixing.

Can someone explain to me rationally why the premier league would want a top 6 club, who are part of the clubs who earn them the most money, to go down?

It doesn’t serve any interest for us to be relegated. If you’re going to come up with a conspiracy theory there first has to be a plausible reason for a grand conspiracy against Spurs. In which all officials co-ordinate to relegate us. Which would require unreal levels of keeping people silent at the risk of the total collapse of the leagues establishment.

So no, it isn’t. People can argue subconscious bias or bad luck but anyone thinking it’s a co-ordinated plan against Tottenham is thinking totally irrationally. It makes no sense to do it nor would it really work.
It's the J** thing!

Fans ALL OVER THE WORLD should unite in boycotting football in the stadium and on TV until VAR is gone.

Put it back in the hands of the referees. At least we see the person making the decision. While at, also, take off the speakers in his ears so we guarantee no one is on their ears. Just good ol' refereeing back.

referees support premier league teams. I’m certain of that. You’re telling me that at around 10 years old when most kids get into football they all picked non league clubs to support because they knew they were going to be a referee? Did they fuck. The whole I support Tranmere Schtick is a load of bollocks.

We don’t seem to be particularly well liked among other fan bases. I think that naturally creeps into their decisions.

it’s also strange how last season Neville and Carragher were making a big thing about it’s not good for all the promoted clubs to go straight back down and look at that, two survive. Theyve also said it would be good for an established premier league team to go down. Here we are. Are they setting the direction of the premier league.

We get yellow cards way easier than other teams. It’s obvious when you watch our games. The stats back that up too. I also think our stadium isn’t intimidating enough. It’s easy for refs to fuck us over. We’re the opposite of Leeds, Everton, Liverpool etc as a fan base. We suck up most things. They lose their shit over a throw in that they think they should have got even if one of their players kicks it straight out. A lot of our fans(I’m guessing they’re our fans), back up shit referee calls against us. very strange.

I've got a mate who's a non league fan and season ticket holder. Has no affilliation with any PL club.
And yet....
He hates Spurs.

But there's bias, is there....

From the same X page comments section:
Robert De Zerbi has been booked in 100% of his Spurs home games for leaving his technical area.

Mikel Arteta has been booked in one game all season for this (Liverpool at home)
Boom. There's your double standards.... It's the SAME offence being treated/punished TOTALLY differently...

It's not subjective, it's a LINE that is crossed... Use GL technology if you have to .. Coach steps over the Technical area line, the refs watch buzzes. Easy

Only thing is, it would go off so much, that whoever is Reffing at the Emirates could take his watch home so that his Mrs can use it as a vibrator!!!

I would be very surprised if every prem fan forum at certain times does not have an active thread on this topic .
What does that tell us .

I still believe it was never equitable with Utd under Fergie . That was fear not corruption, other than bacon face ii still think it evens itself out if left alone

Match fixing doesn't have to be a pre-planned effort for money or direction from an organisation.
It can literally be a case of a series of bias decisions for/against teams. If that bias makes the official make the wrong decision, it's match fixing. They are affecting the outcome of the match.
Maybe we need to get the refs off the pitch, use automated offside with some lights to stop play and have AI monitor the game for decisions :roflmao:

Sounds like human error with a side order of cowardice . The corruption thing is total bollocks . It might be incompetence , weakness , or a combination of both but it ain’t corrupt in the way most are claiming . Mind you I believe the world is round , so what do I know .
