Nah don’t think soI’m still thinking we get both. I don’t think this is a one or the other situation

feels like a big risk to go into a season after so much investment and expecation with just Sess and Perisic at LWB. Perisic might still struggle at his age, even though he's done well this season for Inter.Little point tbh. Sess looks like he'll come good; certainly as #2.... May as well ride these 2 for a couple of years and review once Peresic leaves.

Sess is injury prone as a hell and not that good. Remember that Doherty got injured playing LWB cos both regui and Sess were injured/not trusted.

The only way we also sign Kostic is if the plan is for Perisic at RWB which seems unlikely given he hasn't played there much.feels like a big risk to go into a season after so much investment and expecation with just Sess and Perisic at LWB. Davies can cover LWB as well if we sign Bastonifeels like a big risk to go into a season after so much investment and expecation with just Sess and Perisic at LWB. Perisic might still struggle at his age, even though he's done well this season for Inter.

fair point. one, ironically enough I've made in the past.Davies could definitely do a job in an emergency. Think we’re more than well stocked
Time to change the name of the thread.
He'd basically be an Emerson on the left side. Not ideal but basically adequate in an emergency.Davies can not cover LWB - LB sure but he's no wing back
