feels like a big risk to go into a season after so much investment and expecation with just Sess and Perisic at LWB. Perisic might still struggle at his age, even though he's done well this season for Inter.

Sess is injury prone as a hell and not that good. Remember that Doherty got injured playing LWB cos both regui and Sess were injured/not trusted.

I understand contingency but 3 WBs (2 x non-HG) is a bit of a stretch......

If we're that worried we shouldn't be signing Peresic at all.

Davies could definitely do a job in an emergency. Think we’re more than well stocked

The only way we also sign Kostic is if the plan is for Perisic at RWB which seems unlikely given he hasn't played there much.

We're not going into a season with three LWBs plus Davies.

Still hoping for Kostic also, Perisic was a winger before Conte converted him into a wingback. He versatile so perhaps he covers wingback and wing with Bergwijn’s and Reguillons eventual sales also. Given Reguillons sale should cover signing Kostic and Perisic, it would make perfect sense tbh.

I agree with one of the above posts saying relying on Sess with his injury history and Perisic at his age is a big risk.
