Ok he’s not utter shite but he’s miles away from being decent with us. I’ve said before I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt but if players who are getting bought for £60 million can’t control the ball,hold it up,lay it off and find a team mate then the jury has to be well and truly out. I really hope to fuck he comes good and proves a lot of us wrong. Football is weird that way and players can turn careers around. For some it’s not ok to criticise him but can slaughter Dier,Lenglet and Porro. It can’t work both ways. If they are consistently poor they deserve criticism and we shouldn’t pick and choose. Richi earns obscene money and should be better. As I said I hope he finds himself here but while Kane is here he’ll be a bit part because he won’t play wide of the front three as he’s not quick or technical enough.You can't just write him off as 'shite' either. Nobody can. Our entire squad was mainly shit last season, bar one or two.
So if you're tellingSpiderSpurs that 'you can't say he's very good', then the same applies to calling him shite.

I think there is a fundamental difference between criticising him and just out and out calling him shit.

For the record, I don't mind Lenglet although I don't think he's good enough, I would give him a chance if we did sign him. I think Porro is a good player who will be very good for us.

Porro will be class for us. I’m not against lenglet either because he’s the only defender we have that plays the forward pass quickly. He ups the tempo more than any of the others. His defending was suspect because he’s terrified of pace in behind him. Hard one with him.
Stevie Nichols on ESPN FC said tonight that Maddison will fit right in at Spurs because he is the kind of mid player who looks good when things are going well but disappears when things aren't.... just like the rest of the Spurs players. And that's why no big clubs like City or Liverpool went for him. He's fundamentally not a winner and that's why Leicester got relegated and mid-table Spurs are his level.

To your point about Maddison, I myself wasn't a huge fan but I think it was more that he looks like a prick haha. But he does check a lot of boxes, Ange wants him, the set pieces, the creativity, etc. So I'm in.

I'm still not sure how we got him for that price.
