Donley's got a great vision of where other players are on the pitch and the passing to get those other players into positions threatening goal.
His assist was due to him seeing the situation, running with ball and then passing to a better placed player who had an almost open goal to score in.
But some of his long passes from deep are pin point accurate to start attacks - and Pep is not going to forget THAT goal scored against his ManCity team from a position that it looked alll but impossible to threaten Man City's goal from.
Jamie Donley took a couple of months to get accustomed to Orient and playing mens football but ended the season with the highest number of assists in that division.
He has the chance in preseason to show what he can do with Spurs, but given Maddison's injuries, provided spurs manager 'guarantees' him starts and minutes, he could be a fabulous understudy/alternative to Maddison/Kulusevski as an AM next season. Or if the minutes can't be guaranteed its a loan at a higher level next season - possibly at Orient if they win the playoffs to play in Championship next season, or for a european side etc
Importantly he'd count as an u21 or List B in europe next season, so would not take up a squad place
