Probably like Jamie Donley

didnt look out of place !! he can spray the ball very well, supported sonny alot... much better than devine from 1st half. Be good to see more of him over the preseason
Tidy player, not sure he has the athleticism and physicality to make it here though.
No he’s not slow and will put his foot in. I don’t see anything lacking in this department. He’s a very tidy player but with madders, deki and now Kudus he’ll never start a first team game for us.What’s missing in his athleticism and physicality?
Is he slow? A bit soft in duels?

Donley's an exceptional creative player, a left sided no 10.
Maddison will be 29 in November, and has missed quite a few games through injury, in part because opposition target him to stop Spurs playing.
Kulusevski, who I like, is not as creative although not bad, but was overplayed in 2nd part of last season and got injured - but he was the only alternative to Maddison last season and Kudus arriving doesn't really change that
So 20 year old Donley staying at Spurs, if Frank gives him assurances of say at least 1,500 minutes (17 games) when Spurs are likely to play 60+ games (s we did last season), looks like a pragmatic move - and allows Donley to show he can take Maddison's place in a couple of years time. And as a List B/u21 player does not take up a squad place

Agree
I can see an injury giving us a Kane situation. People thought he wasn't athletic enough either
Call me crazy, but what about giving him a start at 10 and seeing what he’s made of?
Correct
Absolutely stupid decision to play him at left back in a pre season game against Luton
There were others in the squad who could have played there
We had two games today, surely Jamie could have played in his favoured role on one of the games
