Player Jamie Donley

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We are so thin at 10 right now and we used him as LB... So prolly loan is close so we dont bother about him right now too much

Because the club is desperate to integrate homegrowns into the squad, they hired an excellent youth development coach in Frank with a mandate to make use of the youth and still there's no need for these guys.

Jamie Donley probably is not good enough to help us ever, but if he's going to reach that level, it's playing regular football that's going to elevate him. He took a big step in his career at Orient last year, being central to a team's plans suited him. Push that up a level and see what happens.

Agree

My point is some players do step up when they get a chance with better players - yes they might not score twenty goals but they can do a sold team role. Agree Donley probably needs a loan but we need to start giving players a chance to shine in out side.

We have no threat of relegation, and no ambition to challenge for top trophies so it’s the perfect situation to develop them until ENIC F off.

He needs to stay now. Cancel the loan. He'll get minutes that will aid his development here.
Nope- we’re just going to play a lot more 4-3-3 than people were hoping for. I think at this point Frank will not be insisting on another CAM signing until at least the winter window, and that makes sense- with Pahlinha in we have a full set of CMs and CDMs for the purpose.

It may not make us worse at all- it may make us tougher to beat than shoehorning in an average or worse CAM.
