Seeing as Samba would be on around £80k-£100k a week if he moved to QPR, I'm not sure I'd class his signing as massively responsible.
Fernandes has already said he is off if he can't make the QPR project work, who is going to pay for those big wages when QPR sink to the championship?

Of all the strikers we're linked with I've seen Gomis play the most. He's definitely better than Hooper or Jones. 10-15 league goals a season for the last five or six years.
...and while I still want Damiao as the striker we bring in...Ligue 1 may have a better defending record than Brazil, so if Gomis turns out consistent work product in a stronger league...I would not be upset to see him come over.
