Soldado can't score and his only contribution is his "link up play", which makes him an attacking midfielder and not a striker.
Or a number ten in old fashioned speak. Either way we don't need it from a number nine.
Can't really get my head around people saying we don't need another forward. Ade and Bobby ain't good enough, if Kane is injured or tired we are significantly weakened which could affect our cup runs and league games for all the good work that has happened this season we could easily fall short and that won't be pochs fault.
How many times have we been in a situation were we have needed a player for a certain position not got it and regretted it. I know we might not get top class but we have to improve on ade.

Not to mention the possibility of Kane being in bad form... Yes, seems to be unrealistic atm but a player of his age and experience tends to have some form fluctuations.
Problem is: We need a player who has no problem to be striker no. 2 behind Kane or a player who is able to play in the attacking three.
I really like Ings but I'm not sure if we aren't a bit too big for him right now. Same for Berahino.
Jay Rod is still injured and I don't think he can have be the player we need immediately.
Austin might have scored often but he's not the versatile, agile type of player Pochs system needs.
Others like Bony or Benteke might not want to sit on the bench...

Yeh and this is what worries me as Daniel fucking Levy never learns. In his mind he see's Kane doing superbly meaning it saves him a few quid in regards to incomings this window. In the real world we are an injury away with kane of completely messing up our season because Soldado and Adebayor just don't have the goal scoring ability that Kane has. We NEED a striker to come in and not only partner Kane but be a decent cover if he gets burnt out or injured
It's something top teams get right, if they have weak players they get rid of and bring in the right amount of cover, we can take a few injuries in the middle and maybe at the back but not at the front.
It's been so funny watching Woolwich over the past few seasons not buy properly failing to get a proper DM and a top class striker. Another good forward, perhaps another midfielder and we are sorted as well as clearing out the 'deadwood'.
I am sure poch knows what is needed but as you say a levy tight arse moment would be typical.
Thing is Kane can play both as a number 10 and a number 9 infact he is more used to 10 than 9 so if we got a top striker he could play up top with Kane in behind. We did it with Kane and soldado this season several times. We are not going to impeded kanes development as he has already devloped, so much that I doubt we could buy a better forward for what is available on the market.
If Bobby and ade are off which is the rumour we need to get at least one guy on the cheap I would recommend Ingis as his contract is apparently up soon and he's young and English. Not sure if we will go all out for an expensive striker, Three good forwards and we are covered.
So we need two then? Or are you including Chadli?

I suppose if we are losing two strikers then you would expect we get two in but I have wondered if Chadli could become a forward he has a lot of the skills you associate with a forward, what do you think?
I think he could make the step, in the same way that Sterling has done for Liverpool and that Prick Walcott has done for Woolwich. He certainly knows where the goal is.
Love Bobby as a person seems genuine and wants to do his best unlike ade but the amount of times he has either not shown up in games or missed great chances and so on. I want to believe in Bobby but my head says he ain't good enough unfortunatly.
I agree, but I would prefer it to be a choice, not out of necessity. Having said that, I wouldn't be too alarmed to see Chadli and Kane playing up front.
I hate seeing our players go to other Prem clubs, but if that is the case, I can't see Levy doing anything else.

As much as he has been an absolute servant to the club and has done so much for us over the years, as much as it pains me, at that price, I think it's his time to go
Saying that, with Dawson, Hudd and Livermore in their ranks, Hull have become a bit like a second team for me. Maybe Lennon should go there too and join the ranks of Spurs players I always liked but aren't quite good enough.
Mason alongside Dembele mmay be ok. However, I noticed that when we broke forward, Dembele did not get into the box much -as Mason would, and Nabil was doing most of the tracking back into our box.
Like I said before, I feel Cellabos will go and hopefully we can free up wages moving BAE.
I feel the only player who has been bought under AVB to go could go be Capoue.
