It's the only club we've consistently found players at who translate well to Spurs. Makes sense to treat them like our Southampton.
Are you an Ajax fan?
Looking at the squad, it seems to be fairly clear we need at least one CM, another AM/wide forward with plenty of pace, and another wide forward/striker candidate (in case Son cannot get a deferral). I would hope that we're scouting hard for those kinds of players, but we don't seem to get linked in the press with very much. Not that media mentions are really a sign of anything, in any event.

They seem to take pride in the fact that Eriksen, Jan, etc started with them but being asset stripped every year must piss them off.
I'm sure that it is irritating for the fans, but this seems to be the Ajax model, no? As long as we aren't doing anything improper to their players and we work fairly with them it really shouldn't be a problem.

Survive? One of the most supported teams in Europe and most supported in the Netherlands. They are doing well without that money, selling big is a luxury.

In all honesty, if we were to sign anyone from Ajax, I'd go for their young centre half de Ligt, but I think we are pretty stacked there.
