We have a lot more pressing issues than a new goalkeeper

Our next couple of signings simply have to be fullbacks and a defensive minded midfielder

So knowing us we will try and sign another in and out winger /am and bench them for Dele and Eriksen
 
We’ve the World Cup winning goalie out with injury and just seen a world class performance from his replacement.

So let’s sign a goalie.

I'd like us to look to the championship.

Kalvin Phillips must be worth a shout. Great in the tackle and keeps the ball moving. We need a defensive midfielder desperately and he is being raved about.

I'd also like us to snatch Eze at QPR. Someone with that much talent is worth an investment.

Away from the championship I really like Ake at Bournmouth but he will prob6cost 80 million and i cant help but feel there is better value to be had in Europe.

Defensive midfield and central defence 100% should be our priority. We need three players in those positions alone which will probably use up all our budget.

I mention Eze as he would be a great understudy to bring in , so we still have a separate youth budget?

Foyth andWalker-Peters deserve a shot at right back as do Davies and sessengnon on the other side.so maybe hold strengthening those positions until the following window?

Upfront Parrott has to start getting game time so no need for another forward and creatively behind were fine. We probably have to much and I'd love for someone like Tashan Oakley-Booth to get some minutes, he always has time on the ball which is the sign of a good player.

I imagine the reason players won’t come here is because word gets out in the world of agents that their clients won’t get a game, and when they want to sell them after three years on the bench, there will be no money.

Perhaps that's one of the reasons why we get new signings on such long term deals because for the first 18 months it's a case of getting yourself first team ready FFS.

Do you think this is with a view to (forgive the pun) 'elbowing' Lloris out and having this guy Onana and Gazza as our two options ?
 
I think this team with a decent DM would be a match for most
