Haven’t seen loads of Piatek, but seems a bit one dimensional old style 9 to me, if we really want a Kane back up, we want someone who can at least play outside the box with his back to goal. And we want someone prepared to be an understudy, but if they can offer similar qual

I think someone like Dolberg (although he’s probably better off staying at Nice and playing regularly) or even someone like Embolo, who’s slightly different but does work hard without the ball, presses defenders etc and can also play as a wide forward.

To be honest though, I think Alli as a false 9 for now, is our best solution. Better than as a false 10 he has been playing, at least it would mean we could get someone less erratic on the pitch and play 433 instead.

Do we?

Did fine last season when son was up there.

As I said he wants a battering ram which is fine but long term for the club I believe the best thing to do is buy a player like zaha.

The way things are going I'm struggling to see Mourinho here next season so I'd rather not buy an average striker so he can keep playing long balls.

Yet imagine our CL run without Llorente.

He's more of a false footballer the last few games after his brief resurgence.

I wouldn't be too down about it, had we signed him he'd just be in the same position as KWP, stagnating due to not playing any actual football for the best part of 4 years.

yes, they are all the same. If you are RB under 25 you will do identically no matter of other facts, right??

Doesnt matter if you have played ~4x more senior football while being 2 years and 3 months younger.
Experience, talent, physical charecteristics - nothing matters because... thats what random bloke in forum says. Quality and insightful post you made here. pat yourself on the back.

So you think he'd have gotten more game time, as a youngster coming through our academy? KWP made a good first impression on his debut years ago, only to be completely ignored in favour of an injured Trippier and erratic Aurier (signed after said debut). What is it about Aarons that you feel, had he not been exposed to first team football elsewhere, would have been different?

Alternatively, what more could KWP have done 3 years ago in his fleeting appearances to show that he would have been adequate back up to Trippier, rather than wasting 20 odd million on Aurier?

I mean, this is all ignoring the fact that the club had him in training and decided not to sign him! But yeah sure, he would've gotten the same opportunities with us as he did at Championship Norwich...

I look forward to your insight with great anticipation.

Just get Bale for Eriksen ffs. It's not hard. Eriksen is desperate to leave us. Bale is desperate to leave RM (or the other way around - whatever). Bring him home. He'll help Kane. Take some responsibility off his shoulders.

Get in a really good midfielder. I don't know who. Not my job.

That will do for now. I know the defence is poor but I think a lot of that is down to no midfield in front of them.

Getting Top 4 is the be all and end all. They have to splash the cash or they are FUCKED.

Nonsense, they are both financially incentivised to ride out their deals.

"THEY"? ......Is this not about we?

Oh dear it’s either true or Sacks has no pride

Sacks is the Tottenham Hotspur Twitter equivalent to AFTV. Anything for clicks, anything for a higher following, even at the detriment of the club he apparently supports.

He doesn't care if anything is true or has substance or if it comes at the detriment of the club he is completely out there for himself. I call a ban on sharing Sacks tweets from now on. I've read more accurate and truer things on the back of a public toilets door

You're not wrong...

Isn't Sacks proven non-ITK? Or have I just lost track of all the fakes...?

Sacks does what any of us could do. Key word searches Tottenham or Spurs every 10 minutes and anything that looks like it came from someone who isn't sitting at home watching Loose Women with a packet of pringles on his lap and his 23rd cuppa of the day on the go gets retweeted. When it comes to genuine Spurs news Sacks doesn't know his arsehole from his ear hole. He'll probably end up on Skysports news soon

Expecting a Sacks retweet of this then...
