I said I have not manipulated his point or mis characterised him for my own “twisted logic”.

I fully understand the words he said. Literally.

But to claim new players, regardless of price, might need up to THREE years to bed in is absurd, and just goes to show why he didn’t have the ability or guts to drop his favourites
They were his comfort blanket.....he had nothing else to offer.
