But he is more than capable of coming back and being Hojbjergs understudy, which is all De Roon would be anyway.
What is his best position we don’t need any more right side AMs? Need to sell Lucas , sissoko, return gedson and bale if possible to sane at least £250k/ week on his wages. My fear with JM squad building is the average age will go up and when he leaves they’ll be a load of older players with no resale value.
I can only say I seen him in about 9-10 matches in the German league and obviously the game against us. He is very versatile so can play wing, CM almost anywhere in the midfield, he is a high energy player like Sissoko but a far better footballer and has a Dele Alli/Pogba creativity in and around the box.
From what I have seen he would not be our best technical player, that would be Ndombele or our best defensive that would be PEH, but he would probably be our best all round midfielder if he is able to adapt to the Prem. You can say I am a big fan of him. From a Mourinho perspective he would be a hard worker who never gives up and has an eye for goal, a Lampard if you where.
Agree. His versatility is also a big plus - can play as no 6 (DM rotating with (Hojbjerg) or no 8 (rotating the creative player usually Ndombele) and as a bonus, can also play RW. Also chosen to be captain of Leipzig which usually means a strong mentality which is good news.
IMO a big upgrade on Sissoko in our usual first team, which is a definite plus.

Grealish is the sort of show pony Ginola type signing we made in the 90’s, he can produce moments but he spends far too much time preening on the ball and falling over and is lazy as fucking fuck without the ball.
I’m so glad we didn’t get him and I really hope one of our rivals stump up stupid money for the dandy wankhorn.

I think there are a lot of questions about Grealish and how he would fit into a team that is structured and not just all about him doing whatever he wants with no consequences.
I am not as down on him as bus conductor and think that he has enough skill that he could contribute in that kind of set up, but he also doesn't ever have to play that way with Villa and has shown repeatedly that he is a terrible decisonmaker on and off the pitch so I would have major questions as to whether he would be willing to do what is asked of him.
Certainly not a given that he would come to Spurs, or any big club, and have the same personal success that he does for Villa which allows for a lot of his flaws.

Big fish. Small pond. Everything goes through him. One of their own from the academy. Aesthetically pleasing and can create something out of nothing.
However, both lazy off the ball. Can go through spells of not really accomplishing much and both very much overrated by people who only really look at stats and not a players overall game.
I'd stay well clear. I'd much rather Ollie Watkins.

Ffs anyone who can trap a bag of cement would be more useful than sissoko in CM. I’m sure skipp with PEH would be just as good as we currently have!
Fernades is the one. He was a direct replacement for Eriksen, I always felt Poch chose Locelso ( a good player but not an equal of the Portuguese) because he was Argentine. I love the current Grealish but Fernades would with N'dombele and PHE ...seriously destructive stuff.
