Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

No I'm not. Don't make stuff up to strawman me because you don't have any valid points. I've said I am content with this window, I have never 'shitted' over our squad (It's not terrible, I just think Woolwich have better players in many positions) and we're also not 'literally' (instead of figuratively??) massively outplaying them at all. Our squad is rated pretty fairly, as shown by our recent league finishes.

It's good to be optimistic, but your appraisal borders on delusion. We've had a good run under a top manager but still look to be deficient in certain areas, and the three games against Chelsea of late showed those deficiencies. It doesn't make you a better fan if you're just ultra optimistic about every aspect of the team, rather than accepting where we're actually at from a realistic standpoint.
So, you're going from 'our squad is worse and we're reliant on Conte' to "Woolwich have better players in many positions". How much further do you want to climb down?

And yes, we are massively outplaying them. Post-Conte we're playing at a clip on par with Chelsea, even though we did blow it head-to-head last week. But the chances conceded vs chances created and shot quality every match for us vs Woolwich is pretty damn stark. We're much better than them. It's not something for debate.

The top 10 teams in the Premier league brought in 4 total players that will be joining the first team now. We bought in 50% of the total first team players in the top half of the Premier League.

Luis Diaz (Liverpool)
Dejan Kulusevski (Spurs)
Rodrigo Bentancur (Spurs)
Chiquinho (Wolves)

If you’re to jaded to ever see anything decent in what Spurs are doing, I’m not going to try to convince you. But at least take some small pleasure in that no one around has done anything, unless you really rate Chiquinho.
Fair enough but if we haven’t got in a RWB which, by all reports was Conte’s priority, is HE going to be satisfied?

I'm going to miss Aubameyang. Between the gold Lamborghini, stars shaved into his head despite being over 30 years old, donkey face, cringeworthy Black Panther mask celebration, and milking them for hundreds of thousands of pounds a week while sulking, he epitomised modern Woolwich to a tee.

Goodnight sweet prince cunt.

Comparing the squads of the top 4 to the rivals for 4th spot.

United - haven’t strengthened, lost Van de Beek and have the Greenwood issue.

West Ham - No signings. Don’t seem as at it as last season.

Woolwich - No signings. A lot of outgoings.

Wolves - They’ll fall away.

Granted we let a few go, but we got signings in that Conte can work with. I think we are in strong position for that 4th spot.
