Adama Traore for 30m would be a great signing.
Game of opinions and all that but to do what? Take over from Moura as our non scoring or assisting forward or play as a not great defensively, non scoring or assisting wing back? If the latter we'd be better off paying circa £40m for Lamptey, if the former there have to be better options out there. I really dont get the attraction in this signing. As a squad we lack creativity, skill, goals and footballing brains. Traore offers none of that.

I'd be cool with him taking over from Moura, he's better at what he does. Gets teams upfield, opens space for teammates due to his runs, pressing him is a huge mistake. Defenders are scared shitless of him in a way they aren't of almost any other player.

30 mill is nothing in modern football, standard price for a squad player. I'm not saying he'd be my preference or we should rush out and get him, but if we were to pay 30 mill for him I'd be pretty happy. I do think with the right coaching/setup he could be productive, he had 13 goal contributions in 19/20 which isn't exceptional but could a top manager get that up to 20 or so?

One of those where if Conte sees a role for him and gives his approval, I'd be all for it.

We won’t even know what transfers we need yet. Conte is going to be getting this squad up to the fitness in the league over the next few months and probably a few careers will be fixed.

Maybe Bergwijn will or perhaps Lo Celso or Rodon, none of us know. Only then can the club make the calls needed. I would certain bet midfield needs 1-2 extra players and we need cover/competition for Kane. But it won’t be clear who needs to go for a little while other than the very obvious.

The biggest thing we can do is become ultra fit, hard working and with a clear game plan which I have no doubt Conte will provide. That is worth more than any single signing.

Managed just 5 league games a few seasons ago. Played one so far this season. Often late for training, hasn't managed 10 league goals since his debut season in France. Lots of reasons not to go for him the more I think about it, though he can be great when fit to play.

Ndombele is one of the best natural talents I have seen at this club but he can’t be fucked. We really have to avoid any more bad attitude or injury prone players irrespective of talent.

We need attacking players though. Not necessarily Adama but someone more dangerous needs to come in to complete our front 3.

We should be able to bring in a 30 mill attacker and still beef up the midfield.

Said said in your last post: "One of those where if Conte sees a role for him and gives his approval, I'd be all for it."

I'd concur with that as a caveat, but otherwise no thanks to Traore.

Re: Recruitment priorities.... Depends whether Conte's ultimate goal is 343 or 532. If the latter; then even more reason to emphasise MF (caveat being yes we need a 2nd ST, but Traore certainly ain't that.).

....Even then I'd argue we need goal-scoring attackers, rather than non-scoring wingers.
