If City sign Haaland then:

Because I have no intention of watching the guy with 15 goals in 17 games sit on the bench while the one that has 1 goal in 13 plays 90 minutes and Moura gets subbed off

Wow we're in deep shit if he goes down for this, it will be back to Levy controlling everything with no influence.

For as long as Fabio Paratici has been in charge of transfer at Tottenham, Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a move to London.

This came amid rumours that Harry Kane could make the switch to Manchester City, but the England international never got his transfer to the Etihad, leaving him to have to stay in London under Nuno Espírito Santo.

Antonio Conte has replaced the Portuguese since then, but with Pep Guardiola still without a proper starting striker, the interest could rear its ugly head next summer once again.

Vlahovic would likely be top of the list of replacements, but it appears, at least according to Gazzetta dello Sport on Sunday, that alternatives are being looked at.

The newspaper explain that Gianluca Scamacca, currently at Sassuolo, is ‘popular’ in England, where a couple of ‘major clubs follow him closely’.

That’s when it’s revealed that ‘one is Tottenham, especially if they part ways with Kane in June’.

However, it is pointed out that things are changing under Conte, but will that be enough to make him stay for the foreseeable future?

If it isn’t, Paratici appears ready with a list, and the 22-year-old, who has scored five goals in 17 games so far this season appears to be on it.
Scamacca is interesting.

It would be even more interesting to see if his dad and grandad follow him across the pond to start fighting people in UK pubs.

All these Vlahovic links are stupid.

While of course we need another striker, it should be down our priorities list.

Our beyond woeful midfield should be addressed first and foremost.

If there is an opportunity to get him we should get him, Kane, Lucas and Son are not far off 30, Beegwijn is off and Kane may push at the end of this season. Vlahovic is young and could be truly elite for us for years to come. Midfield is an issue but we need to fix both.

Yep could be a Bernardo Silva type signing, very strong on the ball, quick and clever, won’t get as many goals as Kane or Son but would help knit the attack together. I certainly wouldn’t turn him down.
He is 30 and will turn 31 fairly soon. But players are also playing for much longer thanks to medical science advancing. And even if we are building a younger team we need a few veterans to guide them.

A few savvy veterans in is good, as long as we don't bloat the squad with them.
