Hmm. Don't really have a strong opinion on it. Both good players, either of them improve our midfield. Brozovic can help to get a team playing in a way none of our midfielders do, uses the ball well. Kessie is a strong all-rounder, not as good with the ball but gets through more work. I find it hard to say what we need, at this point we could use improvement in nearly every position, Conte will get a good read on it between now and January.
If we are playing Conte's preferred 3-5-2 it has to be Brozovic doesn't it? Unless there is someone else coming in that can play that deep lying role because we have nobody who can play that role and Kessie certainly can't.
Beozavic 3 years ago maybe, but I’d rather 24yo Kessie now. It’s not like Brozavic is Pirlo anyway. I like him, he’s a decent, footballing 6, but you’d have to worry about his energy levels in the PL. I think we have players like Ndombele and Lo Celso who can transition the ball from midfield, what we need is a robust, technically competent 6 with a decent engine, to do the cunty stuff, carry some water and provide some glue.
If we are going to finally get the best out of people like Ndombele and Lo Celso, I think Kessie - at 24yo - makes more sense.
I don't like Pickford.
Could a solution for our HG problem be to let Lloris and Gollini go, and then get Pope and Henderson as replacements?
De Gea has been in incredible form this season, so I wonder if DH may get frustrated.I think with Henderson there's little chance of him leaving Utd to be anything other than 1st choice..... Seemingly De Gea's cyclical shit form keeps pulling DH back in so why would he bothering trading for for less or similar opportunity at a smaller club?
I think HK GK2 is a must though moving fwd.
.....Unless we have a #2 that is clearly the business and worth the HG sacrifice (which I don't see Giollini as being).

The annoying thing about HG is they either seem to be too expensive or not good enough for our squad.
As well as HG keeper, I think RWB is a good option for HG... Livramento or Lamptey replacing Doherty in the squad.
You're right. That's HG all over for the best part.
See above..... 'Ben White' money.
Livramento? Not really watched much of S'oton, but again they're no mugs.... Why would they sell him to a bigger club for anything less than primo bucks?
Which players from the Championship? And which foreign players in the current squad would they replace?Tricky innit......
By the HG players show top-6 promise in the EPL they're too expensive for our bench. Once they show top-4 promise they're pretty much too expensive for us period.
As per prev. posts on the subject I think our most feasible approach would be to get value from the international market in term of improving the first XI and then plough the champo for fringe project players and cyclically churn that level of the squad to keep the HG quotas ticking over (which of course hoping that the academy can drop a gem on us once in a while).
what about diogo costaI like Pickford but I don’t love him. He’s usually great for England but a bit inconsistent for Everton. A shame onana is going to inter
