So you only want young players?

Where did I say that?

Being dubious about signing a near 34 year old certainly isn't an indication of that.

Wanting experience and leadership needn't amount to raiding OAP homes. (Half-Joking)

He would start ahead of both our wingbacks on either side,

Even though he's not considered to have EVER played at WB?

he still plays like he is 25, age means nothing when they are in the top bracket of player

Asking a 34 year old to transition to the EPL as smoothly as you're suggesting is unrealistic.

He's 32 so if we signed him in the summer he would be 33, he played last season under Conte as a wingback and has all the attributes to succeed in the Prem

He's 33 in Feb...... As already stated; by the time he kicked a ball for us in mid August he's be closer to 34 that 33.

he played last season under Conte as a wingback

Not according to this:

and has all the attributes to succeed in the Prem

I'm not sure what part of that statement is meant to reassure my concerns that he'll athletically hit a brick wall not long after he arrives.

Jan window ideal would be Vlahovic, Brozovic and one of De Vrij or Skriniar. We need to fix the spine of the team most.

Perisic is a player I have always rated but can he play wing back with all the running that entails at 33?

Agree with those three. Central midfield is so key, I despise every one of our players apart from Skipp

Perisic is a decent impact sub / squad player. Get Modric too for another Croat threesome

Apart from vlahovic those guys are in champions league. Are they going to leave that behind to play conference. Not a hope.
I think people here may get real with our transfer targets especially in jan as well.
Also these players will be new to premier league theyre not going to automatically be top drawer straight away.

Good point, let’s stick with Scarlett, Winks, PEH and Sanchez as they know the PL.

Also, Perisic is a better footballer than Reguilon and was great at left-wing back under Conte at Inter. Get him in, make Reguilon earn his place, get rid of Sessegnon. We'll find home grown spots in other areas of the squad (Johnstone, Lamptey and Kalvin Phillips please!)
