Pau Torres is a wonderful footballer and him and Romero would help offset our workmanlike midfield. Whether he’s a good enough defender I couldn’t say but he can certainly play like Verts
Want another Verts only right footed. Perr Schuurs from Ajax.

Conte was quoted as saying, "Well you cannot go and eat at a €100 restaurant with only €10 in your pocket can you?"
I wonder where he will be dining in January?
Probs a €40 gaff with a twofer voucher.

I don't think there's a problem with his execution, but we can debate that till the cows come home. As far s making the correct decision, Conte's system makes the decision making much easier, because every player has a specific role and specific routines to follow in a match. He doesn't need to be "creative." He just needs to wreak havoc on the right (which he can easily do) and drop off the ball to a more skilled player who will have a disjointed opposition defense (thanks to Traore) to work with.

Two things here - there absolutely is an issue with his execution. I remember his game against us - he so called "wreaked havoc" on our defense as well. But this "havoc" ended in passes behind players, crosses going over lines etc. He once got to one-on-one and once delivered a decent ball that created danger. Other times he run fast but that ended up in nothingness.

Other issue is the very thing why I don't see him a good fit in this team - who would be the player to whom he should drop off the ball that would make this final pass ?!? If we play with 3 attacking players + CM duo of Skipp and PEH and Traore is one of the three front line players... he really does not have no one to drop the ball off to. Son and Kane are good players... well last season Kane at least... but they should be ones receiving the final service - the through ball, the cross, the layoff. We need this player that would be able to give them that and also be danger for goal himself. Traore is not good fit for that.
