I don't know. The blind panic and sacking of Nuno after getting some grief after that Utd defeat says he cares when backed into a corner. Trouble is does he care when things are ticking along ok? History, Redknapp and Poch would say no he doesn't.

If we got it right, a creative player would light a Bruno-Fernandes-style fire under this squad's arses. Problem is that I have no idea who that would be or if we could afford them.
I think the targets will have been well established and Paratici has been laying the ground work.
The meeting is probably more focused on outgoings. He needed experience with the squad to be able to confirm who to flog.
Of course one informs the other but I can't imagine Conte is showing up to Paratici and Levy tomorrow with a list of players they've had no contact with and they will then scramble to get things done.
There isn't anyone out there to offer that creativity that we can afford, and anyway I don't think Conte wants someone like that. I think he would rather have another front player that can provide a goal threat.

I don’t think Emerson was purchased as a RWB in a five. I think he plays in a 4 or in the right side of a three, so it might not be a bump for him.
Tanganga might be in trouble though.
Emerson can back up Sanchez at RCB or play RWB if we are playing defensively.
Most people complaining about Emerson are complaining not due to poor performance but because we aren't seeing any indicators he has the skillset to be the RWB we need.
