I Think Gil will come good and Sarr is more than a 'punt'.

I don't mind these kind of signings...both clearly talented with massive potential. These were exactly the kind of players who historically have come good for us.

We often fail to attract tier 1 players, and end up with flawed high profile players like Lamela, Soldado or Ndombele who bigger clubs pass on.

Agree with you on Emerson, where I just don't see the talent.

Spot on.

Hence yesterday I said the fact Emerson is 3rd in PL for most tackles is good news- as it shows he’s a reliable back up and useful vs City/Liv etc.

But a more attacking RWB vs most teams such as Adama is crucial to our success over the season

Absolutely, people need to remember the general feeling around the club a few months ago, as you say it’s early days but there is so much more to be encouraged about now. Things have certainly improved and I hope they continue to do so
 
He's unplayable on his day, but I'd hate for us to sign Adama Traore. We already have two forward players in Lucas Moura and Bergwijn who aren't prolific enough. We don't need another. Though I'd certainly swap Steven and a bit of cash for him.
