Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

John Thomas John Thomas I see you've disagreed with this - may I ask what your disagreement is exactly? Do you genuinely think that we should ship out any unwanted players for a pound each? Do you genuinely think we could stay afloat as a club for very long if we did that every time we had a player we no longer wanted?

I'm honestly really interested to hear what on earth anyone could disagree with in that post.
I disagree with your constant defending of the indefensible.

It's patently clear to anyone who hasn't got their head parked up Levys arsehole that his pathetic unrealistic demands for our excess crap is holding this club back in every transfer window that passes by.

Now stop blubbering like a baby and take your X like a grown up.

Why not? I was told by Levy's fan club that once we moved into the new stadium we'd be able to compete with the big boys

Did you miss the pandemic, fans not at games and the loses in last set of accounts?

They will never put a penny into the club. Everyone knows this by now.

I know you’re a stickler for sticking the knife in on levy et al so you’d have read those cover to cover to find something to moan about. 😉

When you tell them we are indebted and paralyzed, they insist we are better off than before

When you tell them that we should spend NOW then, then they insist we have to be prudent due to the investment.

It's no rational debate. You are literally talking to religious football flat-earth'ers.

My post had nothing to do with Levy - god you people are obsessed! Lol. I know you and I differ on ENIC / Levy, but we can presumably both have opinions about other things Spurs-related too? Who knows, we might even agree on some of them! :)

My post was about what sort of amount we should accept for any players who we don't want, and that just accepting peanuts for any of them isn't a sensible way forward. I agree for someone like N'Dombele on huge wages with a poor attitude that we will almost certainly have to accept a huge loss, but I don't think we should be doing the same for all and sundry, and certainly not a player like Berg who seems to have a good attitude, contributes here and there, and hardly seems likely to be a bad or disruptive influence on others in the dressing room etc.

So anyone suggesting that "whatever anyone is willing to pay is acceptable" needs to be called out on the folly of such an approach as far as I'm concerned. Surely you don't disagree with that?

PS always happy to take an X, it would be boring if we all had same opinions - just if they are surprising or confusing Xs then I like to know why, if the other person wants to engage of course. I always try to make it a polite request as I honestly just want to learn what other posters are thinking sometimes. :)

its a shame because if we offered the release porto wouldhave no choice but to sell

i really want to see us make a statement but our current links are worrying

why do we need more average players on top of average ones

has never worked in the past

we could literally have a mane salah type on our wing for 66 mill or as you say we go the cheap route and get that belgian lad who for all intents and purposes could turn out great sure, but i feel we need the real deal at this point in time, we have too many shit in this squad
