What I would say in his defence is that he is consistent , passionate and loyal albeit a bit wrong with stuff.
 
Call me a cynic but it seems to me that we are in yet another transfer window where the fan’s preferred target (in this case Traore) is constantly linked with us via a drip drip of stories only for the transfer to never materialise.

Almost like the club wants it that way…

They're both athletic in different ways; Adama should be first choice as his acceleration means we will be threatening even on the back foot, and he can create space for others.
And Emerson is solid, one of the most tackles/minutes in the PL so far this season. Reliable back up, which Aurier/Doherty never were.

But they both lack true technical ability, unlike Trent or Reece James. Altho tbh so does Lamptey, who would be the Adama alternative (he's so fast but not that many goals/assists). So we need to make up for that by buying an incisive skilful midfielder to replace Ndombele/ Dele.

But there are surely other options out there than just Adama and Lamptey? This is where Paratici is supposed to come in with his vast transfer knowledge, what are our scouts doing??

And you’re right about needing the incisive skillful midfielder to replace Ndombele and Dele, but we are also in desperate need of another wide forward/winger to replace/compete with Son and Lucas.
As well as another top class centre back or 2.

This team needs so much surgery it’s actually scary.

His desperation to defend Levy has gone far beyond any reasonable levels of normality. It's becoming really uncomfortable to see tbh.
