You are literally just proving my point lol

Liverpool did need rebuilding and they used cement , we've needed rebuilding for 3 years and we've used plasters and cello tape.
How am I proving your point? We didn't need to sack poch or mourinho, we needed to give them players of the caliber of Mane, Salah, VDV, Winjaldum. Instead we gave them shite like Sanchez, Rodon. the argie kid I've already forgotten, Sissoko, etc etc. They're all cheaper, easier to sign players, be it wages, fees, or both.

You're quick to post a net spend in fees that shows we're "up there" but where are we on wages?
We're right down the bottom. Year after year our salaries are 50% or less of our turnover. That's why we sign £30m Sissoko and Chelsea sign £30m Kante. You seem to think that's the same, but it's not, is it.

The root question was "who are we competing with" and "how do we compare with their trf activity this January?".

Us being in a top 4 battle with Utd Arse & WH isn't a pro-ENIC sentiment; it's just the facts of the matter.

Generic ENIC out blurb isn't really an advancement of that discussion.
I answered your question I said YES

Do me the courtesy of answering mine this is not PMQs and you are not Boris

Woolwich want them out
United want them out
West Ham LOL

Do you believe we should not expect as much from our owners

The flip side is ending up with nawt.

Is Adama a sort of he'll do if we can't sign xyz?
So he;s on ice,
I don't support it at all - I'm just saying that's how it all works.

Have you ever gone out with spending budget and blown it all on a pair of new jeans in the first shop, then realised you could have had a lot more stuff elsewhere though?

What I think should happen, is that we don't operate only in the windows. We can sound deals out before they open. It feels like we don't.

There no apathy in my statement. Perhaps you think we did finish 8th? Perhaps despite the facts, it didn't feel to you like top4 was still in our hands with 4 games to go.......?

I didn't go as far as saying it was a good season, but hey you jump on the bogus interpretation train with the rest of the fringe shit-gallery if you feel that's where you belong.

As for going to games? Hundreds over the years... First game in 1990. You?

Oh, and If we're asking questions of cursory interest..... Why do you saunter around the edges of a discussions only to run a mile when any substance is called for? ...And why does 90% of your posting history depict an immature child that has yet to learn to filter their emotions and is reliant upon calling everyone/thing that they dislike a cunt, wanker, pedo, elephant washer and such?

How far do you wanna dig exactly?
Why are you getting so personal?

I’m not talking about your response (8th), I’m talking generally….. you seem to be the only poster remaining who constantly defends ENIC and Lext when people rant on here.

Do you currently invest time and money in going to games? If not, it helps understand your viewpoint

Back to the rebutal of your stadium comment for a mo':

"Preparatory works have started ahead of Liverpool's new £60m Anfield Road stand expansion"

vs

"Spurs' £1bn stadium....."

The effects on Liverpool must be comparatively crippling.

Lord help me, I will say one thing in Levy’s defence.

He did spend big on Ndombele and he is not to blame for the fact he turned out to be an absolute bag of shit. We all wanted him. We thought he was going to be one of the best, most robust midfielders in Europe. He’s actually slower than Gareth Barry.

Our midfield has been shocking for years, but that transfer has killed us.

Surely it makes Adama think he's a fall back option if we can't do a better deal elsewhere.
