Liverpool have found better value for money; partly because they managed to sell their players for a good price, ie Coutinho, Brewster etc.
And also buy good value- ie Salah, Mane

Indeed... Very much the discussion I was having on that front. It's quite obvious where the difference has lay in recent years..... They have a MINUS net spend since 2018 according to a chart posted here last week vs us at over 200m so they clearly haven't blown us out of the water in terms of outlay.
....My posts on the matter weren't even a defense of ENIC; just trying to play down the excessive credit being bestowed upon FSG. My point was that they're a lot more like our lot than some would like to admit.

we're literally bottom/ nearly bottom of all of these charts; whether you choose a 5 or 10 year period. Given our fans also pay some of the highest ticket prices, I think this is literally scandalous.
