Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We need to improve asap. For this window a RWB, a MF and a CF. Our midfield is our major weakness in my view, and we haven't been linked with anyone decent apart from Kessie. Or we fix that position or we'll lose top 4, can't count with the lot we have in Lo Soso, Dele, Ndombele and Winks.

What the fuck is going on? Are we even close to signing anyone? I'm honestly in disbelief here that we are almost at the end of the month and nothing's fucking happened. Surely Conte came here because he was guaranteed some immediate changes, why else would he come here??

Most teams waiting for the international break to let players leave. Since we are looking at players that are not 'spare parts' at there teams; it stands to reason that the selling team would want to keep them till the end of the window.

Traore and Kessie seem to be gathering the most traction.

With Dele and Ndombele going out.

Doherty has certainly played his way back into the team and Bergjwin will suit as 2nd striker in Son's absence so unlikely he goes in this window.

I recon there will be a nice surprise signing this window.

Really hope so, but we need more than one. Adama, Kessie and David would bê perfect. If we sign those 3 we could field a team that can compete with the top teams.

I won’t allow any Gil slander

Gedson was a throwaway loan deal for a relatively promising kid we had no need for that was probably some sort of favor to Mourinho's agent.

Amrabat is just a complete journeyman nobody, being mooted as the replacement for our record signing.
And the next stage is that the you tube highlight reels will start circulating which shows that he’s actually a worldie, and then the hipster twitterati will start saying he’s the real deal, but has just been played out of position / misunderstood. And then this thread will be frothing for days waiting for the photo of him at the training ground, brandishing a Lilywhite shirt.

And then he’ll play a game and we’ll realise we’ve done it again. Rinse, repeat…

I hope we have more up our sleeve than the in demand Kessie.

Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici has reportedly struck an agreement with AC Milan for Franck Kessie, but they have still been given bad news in their hopes of signing the midfielder.

Kessie is currently representing the Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations. He has started all three of their matches so far and scored in Thursday’s 3-1 win over Algeria, which sent the holders home.

Despite the all-round midfield star being away on international duty, his future is being hotly contested.

Kessie’s contract with Milan runs out in the summer and he is now free to organise a deal with another club.

He reportedly has high wage demands, due to an excellent couple of seasons in Serie A, but multiple European teams are willing to meet them.

Calciomercato, as cited by Inside Futbol, provide a big new update on the star’s future. They claim an agreement has been sorted out between Tottenham chief Paratici and Milan.

It would see Kessie move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, once he becomes a free agent.

Franck Kessie hands Spurs major disappointment
However, after being told about the prospective transfer, the 25-year-old rejected Spurs. According to the report, his priority is to see out the current campaign with Milan.

He is helping the Rossoneri in their bid to become Italian champions for the first time since 2010-11. Stefano Pioli’s team sit third at the time of writing, four points behind leaders and rivals Inter.

Napoli are also in the mix to win the crown, while Atalanta and Juventus are further back.

Franck Kessie intends to finish his contract with Milan before making a firm decision on his future. Presumably, his next destination will not be north London.

Liverpool and Manchester United are the other English clubs in the running for his signature.

The whole #levyout is boring.

He isn't going unless he wants to and even then he won't go unless the price is right.

We complain he's all about business so why would he take a lower price just cos he's getting booed?

Let's just hope he's got it right this time.
If their was no Levy out sentiment growing within the fanbase and we all had your attitude Nuno Espirito Santo would probably still be our fucking manager

It's one thing booing the team and getting the manager gone.

It's a completely different thing to get rid of the owners.

You can boo and protest all you want - it may actually make them think
about selling - but he still won't actually go unless someone offers what he feels we're worth.

The more the momentum builds, the more likely they are to start making an effort to quell it by supporting the actual football team if not just fucking off altogether.

Just sitting back and giving them a free hand, or , even worse, lavishing praise on them after two decades of achieving fuck all????

No thanks
