Bunch of full 90's from him here if anybody is interested. Skimmed through a few last night, he's looked a decent player at times to be fair, not sure what the deal is at Fiorentina. Don't think he'd be a disastrous loan, can't see him offering any less than Lo Celso has, but they share a tendency to inexplicably fall over when attempting to play a long cross-field ball. You'd have to be worried that he's barely getting a game for a side without standout midfielders, though the same can be said for Gio and Ndombele who could go on to do well elsewhere.
Obviously a staggering lack of ambition from the club to not have something better than this lined up to replace three players we were hypothetically dependent on for creativity.

I'd rather see a youth teamer who has been doing well there get a shot than a "meh" journeyman come in from the reserves of a mid-table side in a weaker league just to play the role of extra bod # 17.
There's more upside to that surely, either they gain experience and develop for us, or the exposure adds a zero or two onto the fee we eventually get from selling them.

Mightn't even be Kessie, imagine when Summer comes around there'll be bigger clubs than us willing to offer him the wage he wants. CL and Conte might give us a shot.
Idea is probably get in the likes of an Ambrabat until the summer to keep the thing ticking over, hope to move on Gio, Ndom and Dele on permanent transfers, and then you spend your thirty-something million on the marquee midfield signing, Mckennie or whoever. At a stage now where I really do not have much faith in this Paratici - Conte - Levy thing going well.. don't think we'll bring in the level of player that will allow us to compete at a level he's satisfied with.
Fwiw, and I only have YouTube to go off, I think his highlights look a damn site better than Kessie’s.

Difference being I actually watched Clarke live but yeah, I’m not claiming to have any expertise (Though anyone watching that game between Derby and Leeds would’ve been impressed with him). Just think that this guy at least looks agile, tenacious and concertante in the ball in the few comps available, whereas Kessie looks a bit of a lumbering donkey.
I was actually thinking the opposite.
Hardly lightening, but he managed to accelerate past a few players. Certainly quicker than PEH.
