Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

if conte is 100% convinced on him there's no problem.
when inter paid 80M for Lukaku inter fans went mad. two years later they sold him for 100M and meanwhile they won serie A thanks to him

the only problem is to understand if conte is truly convinced on him, or he's just desperate and would accept anyone
No. You just don't pay 40 mil for him. Period. That's as much as Juve paid for him and he flopped very badly. What you do is tell Juve bosses to wind their neck in, that's it's a loan with option not obligation, and if you're still keen on a permanent transfer in the summer, it'll be 12-15 mil tops with a percentage of the resale profit. That's what real big clubs with decision-makers who truly know their shit would do. But we're Spurs and our main men are Levy and Fabio

It wont be 40m. I could handle obligation for 30m euros
30 mil is still way too much. I don't care what Juve paid for him because of stupid Fabio...already.

We're talking about a guy who has flopped real bad the last 2 seasons. So his value then of 40 odd mil will have gone down, that's how it works. He was worth 40,was shit for 2 years, he's now worth 15 tops. Period.

Anymore than that and that will finish proving that Levy and Fabio really are useless cunts

Makes no sense if the reported "no obligation to buy" is true. Barca can end up shafting Wolves and to a lesser extent Traore in the summer, surely.

Maybe a gentleman's agreement that they'll buy, and pay a premium, if the qual for the CL. And no deal if not, because Barca are truly geared (financially) for the CL and cannot afford any sort of player without it, or?

You'd like to think that maybe the likes of Gil and Royal being duds is because they were signed for Nono on his request.

But let's be serious, he had no say in the matter. They were young and our scouts thought they were money makers.

first of all, all the sources talk about 30M and not 40M.
the only thing discussed is the option or the obligation to buy.
in this moment juventus doesn't have any interest in loan that player because chiesa got injured for the rest of the season.
if tottenham want him, and more precisely if conte want him, there is no problem in buying him

I'm ok with him going to Valencia to get game time. He needs to play. His experience came from Eibar. Thats like Swindon town. he needs to play for a big club and find his feet.

The most important thing is he plays every week
The most important thing is, he gets regular game time in the PL. Which he probably would've had at So'ton, Burnley, Palace, Brighton...

Yeah he'll play regularly at Valencia, but that won't toughen him up or get him used to the way we play over here

So let's buy him outright instead of loaning him then.

But doesn't change that spending a penny over 15mil for him would be a big, big risk.
