I just don't see the point of this signing given we're keeping Winks, Skipp, and PEH.

Also I think we need to be a bit cautious with overrating Villa players. They have good strikers in Ings and Watkins. Good wide players in Buendia and Bailey. Ramsey is an exciting midfield prospect. Good CB pairing in Mings and Konsa. Good GK in Martinez.

And now people are saying they have a good holding midfielder in Luiz too? Something isn't adding up, if they have all these great individuals, why is their team's performances so mediocre (Gerrard's honeymoon period aside).

Luiz has been one of their better players since they signed him IMO........ An opinion that harks back as far as their relegation threatened season 2 years back; nothing to do with post-Grealish spending hype.

:contefacepalm:

"Tanguy Ndombélé will not join PSG!
Not a salary problem, but the capital club did not manage to free up a place.
The Tottenham midfielder has several leads, including Valencia."

Let’s look at that for past 5 years.

PL
2017- Chelsea. - Oligarch
2018 - Manchester City- Country
2019 - Manchester City - Country
2020 - Liverpool - Not dirty
2021 - Manchester City - Country

So 4 dirty owners and one non dirty owner.

CL
2017 - Real Madrid
2018 - Real Madrid
2019 - Liverpool
2020- Bayern
2021 - Chelsea

So you have two super clubs way bigger than us. Liverpool, who beat us in the final. And dirty Chelsea. Doesn’t seem like we should be competing with these clubs.

Maybe FA Cup?
2017 - Woolwich (beating Chelsea)
2018 - Chelsea , dirty
2019 - Manchester City, dirty
2020 - Woolwich (beating Chelsea)
2021 - Leicester city (beating Chelsea)

That has a better chance for us but in the last 5 years it’s either been won by a dirty money club or the winner has beaten Chelsea. About that…

Even the shitting league cup has been won by Chelsea or City in 7 out of the 8 last seasons! Twice against us…

So the end result is, the two dirty money clubs almost always win everything (10 out of the last 15 domestic trophies), except in Europe where super clubs win too.
Airfixx Airfixx - I had a disagree from iz futbal iz futbal about this post. It’s literally a description of who has won trophies recently. No real evaluation of that; just facts.

Some posters seem not to be interested in facts.

Edit: more disagrees here. Is there another reason someone would disagree with indisputable facts about who won a competition? Mind you in a world where people think trump won the election last year it would t surprise me if people denied the trophies Man City and Chelsea had won. 🤯

Bullshit merchants on SC suggest we have an option on half the Juve first team. Is there anyone else reporting this or is this just another click bait scam from them?

Just not interested in your bullshit about how we cant win anything in 20 years because some clubs have dirty money . Theres fa cup, leaague cup, europa league and now conference league too. Not all of these are won by dirty money. Thats a fact. Now go cry about their money more.
