Same as what you mentioned, like I said, normally I would dismiss it out of hand. But if we are still looking to sell Bergwijn, I think it would only happen if we’re bringing someone in.
I quite like Bergwijn, and he just started to make himself useful. Is that motivated by a pending move? Or by Conte making him believe? I hope it’s the latter…

Personally, I’d see Dembele as way, way too risky. I also can’t see how it would work financially, unless Barca sell him for such a small fee, we could give him a signing on bonus.

I also think there would be a bidding war. Could see UTD going for him, especially as Greenwood looks like he’s off on holiday.
What has Greenwood done?

No idea, I’d just as soon keep Stevie and try to build on the confidence from Leicester. I’m just trying to connect the dots of the info we’re getting.

I'm happy to keep Bergjwin as Conte seems to like him and he has looked useful recently.

That said, I'd also be happy to take the punt on Dembele on the right terms. Short-term deal with the option to extend while we see how his body copes with the PL.

It’s well known that Barcelona have financial issues, and that they need to sell to buy. Could the Dembele link to us be speculative, to try and force interest out of the woodwork and get the best fee they can? I can’t see the logic in us signing him. He’s injury prone, plays in the same position as Berg who has started to come good, and would want a fuck ton of wages. I just cant see us doing it.
Well, Dembele was genuinely one of the best young footballers in the world. At Dortmund he was immense.

Two hamstrings and a knee injury since then though.

Because he doesn’t look like he offers anything we don’t already have in Winks and Hoijberg
You’ve never watched him then.

Juve are currently 5th in Seria A , 11 points off Top

They aren’t the Juve of old right now

They're basically about as shit as we are in their respective division, except they play in a far weaker league. The team who occupy 4th spot over there (Atalanta) couldn't even get out of their CL group with United in it.

And we're taking two players off their hands who they don't want, so we can go fund their rebuild of players good enough to wear their shirt.

Just entertaining the Dembele move for a second, with everyone fully fit you'd expect Dembele, Kane, Son to be the front 3. Lucas and Kulu battling it out for the wide spots. That's a pretty fucking solid attack.

Or maybe there is a surprise in the offing and Kulu is actually seen more as our midfield creative force (going by his own comments).
