Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Dippers just announced Diaz £37M plus £12 add on”s. Surely if we had splashed out say £40M initial fee last week we would have got him.
No - all indications are that us and them submitted matching bids, but the player chose them. If he wanted CL, I very much doubt he'd have just signed for us without asking his agent if there was any other interest, so I very much doubt we could have got this done 'under the radar'.

Utter nonsense being spouted here. For one, we did offer the same amount of money to Porto that Liverpool did, and the player chose them. 2nd, Kulusevski is a player that Conte wanted at Inter and he chose Juve instead, bearing in mind that he was young player of the year in Serie A that year ahead of a certain Federico Chiesa. Bentancur is an average signing, but considering that we're getting rid of the trio of GLC, Ndombele and Dele most likely, we could use some depth in CM.

Don't let facts get in the way of a bitch fest :D

Before we go complaining about how bad our transfers are… Take a moment to look at chelscum

Would you say Pulisic at 51m was good? Werner at 47m? Havertz at 72m? Chilwell?

Come on, we’re doing pretty well keeping up without spending on gash players like them!

They all say ( including the one you linked below)

"Tottenham have signed winger Bryan Gil from Sevilla, with Erik Lamela joining the Spanish side in a swap-plus-cash deal.

Spurs will also pay Sevilla £21.6m for Gil, according to Sky in Italy.'

Don't say that its saying something its not, if you think they are wrong that's up to you.

Tottenham to pay £21.6m for Bryan Gil, with Erik Lamela moving to Sevilla as part of the deal;

The only way on earth we paid £21m AND Lamela is if we Valued Lamela at next to nothing.

Or Paratici stole a ton for himself.

Why would we blow a Lamela and £21m on a nobody kid when we won't spend that kind of money on established players?

Was Paraticci a good appointment?
was Paraticci any good at Juve?
Levy speaks about the DNA, and hires a DOF who is anti DNA.
How do we get out of this?
I know Ndombele was never accepted by the fan base(the majority at least).
If the coach invested a bit of belief in that guy, it would cost us way less and profit us more.
We play PEH, SoN and Kane regardless of how horrible they’ve been all season. But we castigate Ndombele even before he touches a ball.
Now we are likely going to bring in players who are cast offs from Juve.
Makes no sense to me.
I wouldn’t want us to write Ndombele off.
We need a rebuild, sadly I don’t even think it’s with Paraticci.

Who bought these players for juve, patrici? If they are surplus to requirements at juve surely they can’t be that good. Dippers just announced Diaz £37M plus £12 add on”s. Surely if we had splashed out say £40M initial fee last week we would have got him. Instead we now spend even more on two players with dubious records and one of which in CM is not required at all. We needed a CM baller not PEH mk2. There must be questions being asked on what’s going on? Pool just come in and offer £37M and they get “out” man. What is the point of having DOF if he can’t get these deals done and all he can do is recruit from his old club!

Stop rambling; just go back and read what the ACTUAL situ was with Diaz.

Whilst it’s refreshing to see what looks like 2 signings, this isn’t enough for me. We still desperately need a RWB to fit Conte’s system and we still need a Kane back up. This Kulu isn’t a striker.
Of course it isn't enough, but it's also the January window. Two signings in January is quite busy, especially when you consider we are also moving players out as well.

I think we need a RWB and backup striker as well, but it's hoping for 4 deals in January just isn't realistic.
