In reality Toney is probably a 30-40m player at the most but due to the crazy nature of the EPL Brentford will get close to 100m

I really hope he ends up at the Gooners and they overpay for him , then he ends up getting them docked points as he can’t resist on betting on them bottling the league!

Udogie who was loaned out immediately and never actually saw Conte. NFI if Conte wanted him or not.
Porro, took an entire month, a month where we knew the price, we knew we needed him, and we dropped points while Levy fucked around trying to get a discount and failed.
Lost at home to Villa and Woolwich and away to City. By the time he arrived we were wobbling and he needed to get up to speed and we dropped even more points as a result (that Leicester game)

But yeah, you keep convincing yourself Levy is great and inventing ways to defend him

Didn't we want porro in the preceding summer and got spence instead in a deal "led by Levy" because he knew the agent or something?

Tbh, I don't recall. I know we wanted a top RB (of any kind) but got Spence.

Makes me crack up every time I see a Conte hater blame him for Son.
Son, who got 23 goals and bags of assists the season before. Under Conte.

If Conte and Mourinho got the players they wanted, we'd have won stuff. It's really simple as that. What they got, was players "like" the players they wanted.
The main difference (it seems) between them and Ange, is that the former 2 hated that and likely lost all interest in the job from there on.

People can yap on about "oh but Ange has final say on it" but let's see how that works in a years time after 3 windows.
