Maybe he is the world class midfielder we’re waiting for.

Potentially yes, not necessarily but very good .... and versatile enough to play as a no 10, deep lying footballer or even a RW.

Certainly needed experience in mens football, so I'm delighted with how Port Vale went, and hope he can repeat that at Championship Plymouth.

Worth remembering that Devine was one of our standout players v West Ham in pre-season ...... I know its only 45 mins in a pre season but that was the highest level footballer the 'not quite 19 year old had played (higher than the 45 mins v Marine in an FA Cup match under Jose). IMO he should play with first team in pre-season to see if Ange is prepared to play him at Spurs next season ...... imo he could/should be ready to play a few games, maybe starting from bench before full appearances. But lets see how he plays against Championship sidesuntil end of this season

Fucking hell, forgot about that one.

Just proves that if the team is playing well, the stock of your shitter players does go up. Same way we sold the likes of Wimmer for close to 20m when we were a team doing well.
Those were the days.
These are our only sales of more than half a mill since 2020. What a feat the Bergwijn sale was.

It's another reason we need to build up and make our academy more of a priority.

Chelsea have a world renown academy, so teams line up to take players who don't crack the first team because buying clubs still think players have the pedigree to be useful. I think Liverpool to a lesser extent but we just rattled off a bunch of underwhelming players who were sold for big money.

Good for him. Nice lad, well educated, respectful. Proper Spurs too. And he is a good player. Shame really as without his injury I do believe he would've had a career a Spurs. Not saying he'd have been the second coming of Ledley but.

Fuck Augsburg. Hope the kid manages to stay fit from now on, goes to a solid Champo outfit (So'ton, Chez Carrick, Sunderland, Coventry...heck, even Leicester) and smashes it enough there to get himself back onto a PL roster, be it with us or elsewhere.

Best of luck, Japh. One of our own.

Which posters have I not respected there?

Wasn’t referring to you😂just making a general comment .

So many teams desperate to take their underwhelming players... Sad state
Many of their underwhelming players are the new ones on 8 year contracts amd massive wages . Nobody really wants them because they have been poor and nobody could afford their wages. Why would they leave? How many wide attacking players does one club need? Todd Boehly is an absolute idiot.

Think they have been playing Broja so they can sell him. Fattening the cow for market.

Colwill they would sell but only for silly money because he's HG and CT so super valuable in their squad. . The fact that he's not a great LB and Poch wants to play him there might help persuade the board to take a lower offer.

Gallagher somewhere in between but they are actively trying to create a buying market for him as well as Broja.

FFP has to be in there somewhere and they want wiggle room to go after a big time striker. Most likely Osimhen.
I think Osimhen would laugh at them .

I think we sold some striker last summer, can't remember his name now? Went for a few quid too.....
We haven't really got in big fees over the last few years because we haven't had to sell our players. We have been able to hold on to our biggest names up to the point we no longer require them. Ndombelly is the one big blemish on our copy book

You do talk crap. There's no way to quantify how excellent the business that Chelsea and Todd have been doing. They need to stick ridgedly with the plan even if short sighted people like you fail to appreciate Todd's clarity and vision..................
