They were terrible misses. But on the other hand we got Biss for 25m and Maddison at 40m which look like absolute steals and we got Solomon for free. VDV and Vicario are even looking like bargains.

So we've had some good value deals where we got players for 'unders' too.

I rate Gallagher and wanted us to sign him but don't want him anymore.
By January Bentancur should be back and I really like what I've seen of Alfie Devine so want him to be part of the squad next season.
Maddison, Bissouma, Bentancur, Sarr, Skipp, Hojbjerg and Lo Celso is fine to see out the season.

In the summer I would look to sell Hojbjerg (one year left on contract) and Lo Celso and make an attempt to bring in Eze. I'd even see if we could do that in January depending on our and palaces position come Jan.

A CB is needed in January providing its the one we actually want and not a panic buy. I think the hope now is that Williams looks competent (with Emerson also another option as the RCB) and Davies covering VDV. Definitely not ideal but let's see how they do.
