We're 12th in the league and not won a trophy since 2008. We won't be signing muani if clubs like juventus are interested in him. Even united atleast they still win stuff. We're not an attractive proposition for players like that right now.

Trophies has fuck all to do with it. Pay the wages, get the player. It's a business with a very small window to make money in. Trophies is something all players want to do but generally speaking the clubs that pay the highest wages also win the most trophies so they hardly ever have to choose either or. Playing time factors more than trophies. Market size of the club for the player's brand image after that. Trophies after both of those.

In this case, none of Juve, Spurs or UTD are guaranteed trophies and the wages offer will be pretty similar so it will come down to who is prepared to offer the best financial package to the club and player. No reason we can't compete.

Well we aint got any trophies and we dont pay well.
 
Have always been a bit meh with regards to Muani and a lot of our recent signings have been on the quiet, possibly most this Muani crap is paper or social media talk created by agents.

City getting the young CH is all that's wrong about football, totally distorting the market to add what must be their 6th or 7th ch at an outrageous price for a young CH who was quoted at half the price last week, smells damn fishy like a lot of their deals.
