Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Forgetting Kvara specifically but pay top wages you get top players.

If Kvara had 2 offers, more money from us and less from PSG, he plays for Spurs
That’s the assumption that many seem to have but I don’t think it’s that simple.

If you want to win trophies in your career and play in the CL every season then you choose PSG over Tottenham. It’s not like PSG are paying low wages. They’re competitive with anyone.

Rumour about interest in Garnacho this morning.

Alejandro Garnacho is reportedly open to joining Napoli, but Italian sources claim Manchester United’s asking price for the 20-year-old is €80m, while the Serie A side won’t offer more than €50m.

Pay the wages, get the best players
That view is explanatory of a lot. Wages matter to players, for sure. But look at HOW MUCH more Saudi clubs have to pay to get the best players. According to your logic, 1k more per week should be sufficient to attract the best players but they’re paying a LOT more.

Those stupid Saudis just love throwing money away….

Season 5 GIF by Paramount+

He was exceptional at Fiorentina. Their best No 9 since the legendary Batigoal. He's had injury issues at Juve and as a club they've been pretty meh for years. That's what happens when no longer paying off refs and doing dodgy transfer & accounting shizzle (bar the Villa one).

Wouldn't have him here, but could still regain his form and become lethal again in the right club & setup.
And it's not like he's been dreadful at Juventus.

He scored 16 goals in Serie A last season and 2 in the cup for them. The season before that he had 10 in the league and 3 in the EL.

He hasn't been world class/Kane level but he's producing at a perfectly fine clip for a serviceable striker. He's got 7 goals in Serie A this season so far. Joint 5th in the scoring league.

I’ve gotta get off twitter, I’m just allowing myself to be baited by the scum fans. I think even recently Liverpool and Newcastle fans etc have realised how they’re the biggest cunts of a fanbase online

EDIT: sorry wrong thread.

Yeah that’s fair. €1k pw makes no difference

But 19k pw is about 1m extra per year. That’s enough to turn heads on a 5 year deal

Yes but you’ve already admitted it’s not paying more alone that does it.

You have to pay enough to make the other pull factors irrelevant.

Players in their prime (especially those who haven’t won much like Kara) will likely weight trophies and guaranteed CL participation more highly.

Still no links to a quality midfield leader, we need better than the inconsistency of Bissouma and the sometimes unfortunate absences of Bents.
Forget about Muani at PsG and ask them for Fabian Ruiz...
