Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I am "insisting" that Spurs buy 1 or 2 new left-footed WFs. Below is a list (I may have mist some) of RWF that Spurs should look at. I have not seen enough of any of them to blatantly state that this player is the one - as none of them will come with a guarantee to make it in the EPL. That' the job of Spurs' scouts anyway.
The only EPL proven amongst them are Mbuemo and Tyler Dibling and McAtee to some extent. Mbeumo may be out of Spurs price range, so my other 2 choices then would be Dibling and maybe McAtee

Yéremy Pino (Villareal)
Johan Bakayoko (PSV)
Geovany Quenda (Sporting)
Takefusa Kubo (Real Sociedad)
Yáser Asprilla (Girona)
Samuel Chukwueze (Sevilla)
Jayden Oddai (AZ)
Tyler Dibling (Soton)
James McAtee (Man City)
Bryan Mbuemo (Brentford)

Prospects
Romain Esse (Millwall)
Cathal O’Sullivan (Cork)
Bruno Durdov (Hadjuk)

I have no idea at all about this quality of this site so its probably complete crap, but take this as you will.

"Radu Dragusin, a young Romanian defender from Tottenham, is attracting the interest of PSG, who considers him a priority target to bolster their defense. At 22 years old, the center-back has shown outstanding performance in the Premier League, establishing himself as one of the most promising talents in his position. This situation has led the Parisian club to assess an offer around 50 million euros, although the London team does not seem willing to let him go."

Yea, you mean like we were flying extremely high and brushing teams aside in the league when we had Romero and VdV available, right?

We were ~10th in table where they got injured ffs.

We were equally shit from Jan-May WITH Romero + VdV too. In fact Romero's defending this season have been most likely much worse compared to likes of Benny Davies and Archie Gray ffs.
Just as an aside: It's fair to say that last season was tumultuous from November onwards. New manager, new team, chaotic injuries and suspensions, no form without consistency, and yet we still scraped Europa league. Let's just move on.

This season has been sporadic at best, but what is encouraging is the new younger players coming through (something we've been calling for for a long time now). The incredibly unfortunate injuries and suspensions have given the youth a great chance to step up (and they really have, Gray, Bergvhall, Spence and Moore are clearly going to be special players for us.), so it's reasonable to assume that with our better first team players coming back in, the entire team will be elevated as a result.

Now, elevating this team above the team that has only been thoroughly beaten once (by liverpool, the best team in europe right now) means we'll get more points per game.

Pros:
We've only been beaten by one goal, on average, the entire season.
We've beaten every top team apart from the scum.
We're still in League, Europa and FA cups
We've lost to teams that were simply put, a lot better than we expected. (e.g. Forest, Bournemouth)

Cons:
We've only been beaten by one goal, on average, the entire season.
We're not winning the league this year.
We've lost a few games we really should have won (e.g. Ipswich, Palace)

If you can't accept the status quo, that's understandable, no one is happy about the current feeling. But that's the squad as much as the manager.

"Ange chose the squad" - Maaaaybeee, but I doubt it. He does takes responsibility for it, though.
"Ange can't change his tactics" - check your facts. He sticks to his principles, but changes tactics and strategies all the time.

What's clear to me is that the manager hasn't been 'found out', because IF THAT WERE TRUE then the 'top' managers would be destroying us, but they aren't, we've beaten all the top teams except goons. We just don't score enough.

Our biggest problem hasn't changed: We need better wingers. Our entire strategy is predicated on out-scoring the opposition. With Brennan 'but he chips in with goals' Johnson and Timo 'Defender' Werner as our starting wingers, we're only capable of winning the tallest dwarf competition*.

* The league cup

Sorry, that turned into a lengthy rant. The point is, we need better attackers and at least one creator.

Rios will do, make it so!

The issue with trying to get Semenyo for us is that he is a outspoken gooner with an open goal about wanting to play for them.

So probably a hard sell.
Really think this matters little. He plays in the same position as Saka for one, so highly unlikely he’d ever go there. On another, when hard cash and career progression are offered, these sort of things are mere childish things that are put aside. Just look at that piece of shit Darren Bent who is a Gooner cheerleader these days, but was happy to sign when the money was offered.

That view is explanatory of a lot. Wages matter to players, for sure. But look at HOW MUCH more Saudi clubs have to pay to get the best players. According to your logic, 1k more per week should be sufficient to attract the best players but they’re paying a LOT more.

Those stupid Saudis just love throwing money away….

..... and even offering eye watering salaries a lot of players are turning them down , or trying to move to other clubs even those offering less than the Saudis are paying if they go to Saudi on those top wages.

So top wages is only one of the factors to convince a player to join a particular club
